This hotel was perfect for us with 2 dogs. Positives: great price, large refrigerator, nice kitchen area, large room, grass area for the dogs, boat parking and convenient location. Negatives: older hotel, terrible pillows, small worn towels. It was so nice to have a decent sized room with a regular frig! They also sell ice onsite which was convenient. The hotel is walking distance to the park and beach (may want to drive if it's hot, lol). My advice, bring your own pillows and maybe towels; other than that, it was great!

I would not recommend this property to anyone. The pictures online are only a few renovated rooms on the 1st floor. The place has 4 floors, so you have a 25% chance to get a new room, otherwise the rest of the property is simply an old Motel 6. There is nothing to make this place with suites. The front of the hotel had trash all over the front lawn. When we went to our room on the 4th floor, the carpet was threadbare and ripped to shreds at the door. There were boogers wiped on the wall next to the chair and the furniture was super old. The beds were box springs right on the floor with maybe a 2 inch base. There was trash and dirty linens in the hallway of the 4th floor. We refused to stay at the location and asked for a refund. The lady at the front desk was super nice and understanding. She told us we needed to contact Expedia and she said she would have the manager call us in the morning as she was not authorized to give refunds. I have yet to receive a phone call from the manager at the property over 48 hours later. Expedia said they reached out to the hotel as well to request the refund however I have not seen a response from them yet. Stay away from this property. Don’t believe the pictures as they are not indicative of the current condition of the property.

The 4th floor hallways smelled like mildew. Bathroom also smelled. Beds are not queens. They are fulls. But its their version of queens as the clerk told me. The place just looks really old
