Liked: Cleanliness
The Good: The house was better than the pictures. It was spacious and the backyard was beautiful. The owner nicely stocked some refreshments and snacks. Checkout was a breeze and we did not have to do anything special. The Bad:1. The pool was quite chilli (mid-May). Too cold to just leisurely sit in and shoot the breeze. 2. The pool sweep was all over the place and prevented me and got in the way of freely swimming. 3. How does a nice hi-end house like this not provide Kleenex? When I texted the owner, they told me to go buy my own Kleenex. 4. Communication with the owner was weak. They would NEVER answer the phone and sometimes took hours to respond to a text. The Ugly:1. The outside temp was in the high 90’s and the A/C never worked properly. It took over /4 hours to send a technician who fixed one problem. But then the main thermostat would always reset itself to 78 degrees when we were trying for 73 degrees. The owner said this was impossible, but we lived it.2. One of the bedrooms had ants. 3. The toilet in the master bath did not work. I was told that it was user error. The toilet NEVER worked properly. 4. No TVs in the bedrooms.
