Comfortable but some issues

The house was beautiful with very comfortable rooms and beds. However the family rooms were not interconnecting and our children had a room on another floor without a bathroom so they had to use our bathroom at night, we ended up having one adult and one child in each room as it wasn't ideal for young children. We hadn't realised the family room was actually two totally separate rooms on different floors. The host was welcoming and friendly at first but seemed a bit confused as we left and tried to charge us extra for breakfast even though it was included We showed her the email confirmation saying breakfast for 4 was included but she was not happy that we would not pay the extra and we left under a cloud. I think we all felt as though we had had a strange experience after that.

This is a wonderful property with amazing hosts. Stunning authentic French decor - just amazing. Don’t be fooled by the modest entrance - this is a truly unique chambre d’hote. Also walkable to the old town. Excellent.

Très bon séjour

Très bon séjour au sein des Lamartine. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques, le duplex était très agréable, il faisait chaud mais le ventilateur faisait très bien l’affaire durant la nuit. Niveau service et propreté, rien à dire.
