I am having car troubles so somehow lost my low tech key card. I was charged $5700 colones or $17 Canadian for a new key card. I complained about this charge. Naomi confirmed the charge with her supervisor. Can you imagine any North American reading a review and thinking this is a fair charge.

We left before the restaurant was open so didn't have breakfast. Our room was mostly clean but had a used cup and needed a good sweep in the bathroom. The property is nice as is the pool. We saw a beautiful peacock and heard the monkeys in the morning. We would stay again.

There was quite a long wait at checkin time with only one trained staff member . The room had not been dusted recently. In the restaurant at dinner, one of our meals was forgotten and not prepared until all the others had already finished their meals so we took it to go. The beds were hard. Otherwise it was a beautiful little oasis, and the staff were friendly.
The children loved the pool and the peacocks .
