The house is situated in a picturesque seaside location in Liliwaup Bay. This serene location allows you to escape the everyday hustle and bustle and enjoy beautiful untouched scenery. You are also just a few minutes away from the center of Liliwaup, where you’ll find restaurants and stores.



Getting Around:

We strongly recommend that you arrive in a car as it will give you much freedom to explore and enjoy this beautiful area. As you already know, we offer free parking with 3 spots.



Other Things to Note:

1- The hot water tank is a smaller size. If you're traveling with a larger group (more than 5 people), please stagger your showers to ensure everyone has access to hot water

2- AC and Fireplace: Please note that this house doesn’t have central ac. We provide 2 portable ACs. Fireplace in the house doesn't work.

3- NOISE: Please note that this house is on the HW 101, a twisty mostly 2-lane road. You will hear traffic noise from time to time.

4- OCEAN SCENTS: Due to its proximity to the water, ocean/oyster/seaweed scents can be detected from time to time.

5- SECURITY CAMERA: We have a security camera in front of the house

6- KAYAK & HOT TUB USE – AT YOUR OWN RISK: You're welcome to enjoy the kayak and hot tub during your stay; however, please note that use is at your own risk. By choosing to use the them, you accept full responsibility and release the hosts from any liability.

Lovely stay at an iconic location along highway 101 right on the water. The scenery was amazing, ice cream scoop shop right across the highway, hot tub was great. Kayaks might be seasonal so be sure to check in to secure them.

Relaxed weekend stay

An absolutely great spot with plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind. The water views were beautiful, and the property felt private and well-maintained. This is a fantastic place to bring family and friends for a memorable stay with lots of activities nearby. We had everything we need and newly rebuilt fence works perfectly. Would definitely come back. Hot tub and roaring mash mellows are kids favorite.

The house is great and you cant beat the location right on the hood canal. Its such a great small town vibe. We did have a few issues with water pressure, the wifi not working, and the hot tub not heating up. I had to adjust the DHCP settings to get the wifi to work on the tv there as well as our mobile devices. The hot tub literally takes an entire day to get hot so we couldnt use it on day one. Oh, and the vent on the stove is motion activated and extremely annoying. Those are all minor things really. Over all we loved the place and the area.

Family weekend

Stayed here for a long weekend with my family. 5 adults and 2 children, as well as dogs. Accommodated us well. Being right on the highway, was the worst part, but didn’t notice too much road noise. Tides didn’t work in our favor to get too much beach time, but the view was beautiful anyway. We didn’t have any problems with the house, and everything was clean. I would stay here again.

A great stay.

We rented this beautiful home on the canal for a early family Christmas gathering. Overall the house was very comfortable and put together. The decor was very beautiful, Very calming beach themed. The floors were soft in a few areas when moving around the house, and the house is located on a very busy Street, we listened to cars and logging trucks past the house all day and all night. We were able to fish and down the ways off the property do some clamming as a family activity. The kayaks were useful, our older adult kids were able to use them. The TV had a multitude of channels that could be watched, that was very nice for the little ones to be able to watch their shows. The hot tub was nice for the older adult kids to use.

Gorgeous spot!

We loved this place for our teen and a few of her friends. It was well appointed and we learned the “art” of cooking on a charcoal grill again. So much space for seating and playing board games. Walked the beach, enjoyed the hot tub. My two “wishes” that would make it better: Beds were very hard /firm. Most of us didn’t sleep well. Shower water pressure was weak. Other than that, we would return in a moment!

We get together twice a year, just before and after high season, to play cards and enjoy our gorgeous area...water, mountains, and trees. This is the first time in 6 years that we each had our own bed at an affordable price. The only drawback was the lack of more than warm water in one of the two showers. Getting ready to go home was a trial. I can't imagine what it would have been like if all 6 of us had been there, let alone the possible 10 that the rental advertises to.

The house is a great size, the view and location are wonderful. The hot tub was Sam and toasty. The bed were comfortable which is a huge plus. We had 3 issues. 2 are easy fixes. 1. Was that kitchen is missing quite a few things which made cooking interesting. 2. Was there was a really bad smell coming from the master bathroom vent.we bought a candle to help mask the smell. The 3rd was the soft spots in the floor, especially the hall. It felt as though our foot would go through the floor. But really over all a great stay.

Family Fun

The waterfront and large deck was perfect for family fun. The house itself was smaller than the pictures make you believe. The hot tub was not clean even though the cleaning person was still there at 4:00 and told us we had to come back later (check-in time being 4:00). The kitchen was halfway clean. The house is right on highway 101 so you get traffic noise and vehicle lights flashing through the bedrooms all night. All in all, we loved the deck and shallow inlet behind the house. We still had a great time and appreciate the host sharing their home with us.

While we enjoyed the house and location we ended up spending WAY more than we intended because of additional fees. When a place says a certain amount a night but then charges more per person it feels like a rip off. I think the amount of cleaning fees and additional fees are rediculous.

The hot tub was ice cold and a breaker was flipped that no one would’ve known about if there wasn’t someone familiar with construction and you wan electrical system works. Attempting to call management to no avail. Overall disappointing and would not rent from here again. Also some walls were visible dirty, pictures on the wall were cheap and falling apart leading to the depressive nature of the house. Also, reported scratching from underneath the house so that was happening.

This was a nice rental. The house provided plenty of space for our family of 10. It included a playpen and a booster seat that strapped to the chair. The kitchen was a nice size and the deck and hot tub were great for relaxing. Watching the wildlife on the Hood Canal and the tides roll in and out from the back deck was amazing. It could use some work though. The mattresses in the bunk rooms were thin, kind of similar to a cot mattress. Fine for kids not so great for older individuals and the one room had a nice size bed but a pretty stiff mattress, for some this could be a plus, just throwing it out there. There is really no good place to store your clothing in at least one of the rooms. I think three had closets, no dressers in any. There were two kayaks and a jr kayak, no paddleboard.. Only one paddle was meant for an adult kayak the other was a jr paddle and perhaps a paddle for a canoe but it wasn't a kayak paddle. There were some soft spots on the deck floor and one in the house itself. The carpets for the bathrooms were damp upon arrival but on the floor. Some of the members were a little chilly at night but there are no extra blankets but the ones that were on the bed. It is important to note that there is a burn ban in that area that falls every July to September you can look up the dates, during that time you cannot use the fire pit or the grill. Overall the house was nice but as stated above could use some attention.

If you had ordered this house online, you would have sent it back for a full refund. The view was spectacular, however there was nowhere to sit and enjoy it. There are no cute umbrellas and outdoor lights. Your choice of seating on the deck are: a couch with moldy, stained cushions that are not only flat- but don't fit, so you wind up sliding off. Your other options are a few moldy, rusty chairs, or a stack of cheap plastic chairs available at your local Dollar General. There's even a small tree growing out of the home's wall near the hot tub! Speaking of, it was "unavailable" the first night. Clearly there are issues because 3 days into our stay, the water turned green and smelled like dirty socks. We called it in and we were told it would cost us extra to fix the tub! Now for the inside: it's just gross. It's dirty and dusty. The floors haven't been mopped in some time. There's a funk throughout. The kitchen supplies were either non-existent or cheep and broken. Everything about the place felt duct-taped together. The floor is sagging in spots (someone will fall through one of these days ). The final insult was that the shower liners were filthy. The towels were varying shades of grey that offered mysterious stains for your contemplation. In all, the house was a drag on what was an otherwise great vacation in the Hood Canal. We didn't even stay the full week and decided to leave a day early.

Extremely Rustic Mobile Home

The home is older (isn’t an issue), just needs some love. Upon arrival the front door wouldn’t open, the locks didn’t work. Was instructed that past guest would have to “jimmy” the lock each time you left. It didn’t feel safe to leave our stuff there or when we were sleeping. This property isn’t for the light sleeper. Home was directly on the curve of the road, headlights shine through the master windows. You can hear “everything”. The excessive emails everyday for a week prior to our trip wanting more disclosures signed or additional insurance even though we purchased through VRBO. One email with all disclosures and information would be nice. One disclosure was about the use of the hot tub, upon arrival it was dirty (sand and shells). Was told they only have it cleaned once a week, not between guests. I understand the owner wants to be able to see their property and have it “under surveillance”. It felt extremely invading to have 8 cameras. There was 2 pointing at the hot tub. Cleaning: they need to have maintenance come check everything out. There was a birds nest made of mud right about the back door. Originally it appeared to be a hornets nest. They should also think about suppling a few cleaners. There wasn’t any trash bags or counter cleaner. Happy there was dish soap, but hard to keep it clean without cleaner. For the costs of the home and “cleaning” fees it wasn’t very stocked. I’ve never had to bring cleaners to a home we rented. Needs TLC!

Enjoyable stay

We really enjoyed the stay. The view overlooking Hood Canal was gorgeous. Inside of the house was very clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable. There were some maintenance issues outside, but nothing that bad. One staircase on the deck was broken and blocked off, but the other staircases were fine. Previous renters left behind some things like a Styrofoam cooler with corn cobs in it, and some bits of garbage and cigarette butts in the backyard. The trash and recycling hadn't been picked up for weeks, so trash bags had piled up out front. The listing mentioned a pellet-fueled BBQ, but it was completely rusted out, with loose bolts and stuff laying on it, and looked like it was from the 1940s. Thankfully there was also a Weber charcoal grill :) Across the street is an old, abandoned motel that looks pretty creepy, but next to that there is an old but still functioning gas station and little store that closes as 5PM. The only real issue was that the hot tub was broken, and we were not informed about that until the day we arrived :( But the owner did apologize and explained that a replacement was on the way, but just wouldn't be there in time for our stay.
