I could hear the fridge running over the sound of the ocean lol. And there was construction near the property and we needed to drive to get beach access somewhere else. It was a fine place to stay, and the view was pretty- but for the money I don’t think it was quite worth it.

The view is amazing. It’s nice to have a kitchen and I would have never guessed that I had neighbors based on how quiet it was. The only downside is that there wasn’t WIFI which made me have to travel to get my work done.

I adore this property.. the views are stunning, and the beach access is great. This though I was taking my dying Mother for probably her last view of the Pacific Ocean she loves so much. I had requested a room with no stairs.. a representative from the property called me and we went over the best room to accommodate my Mother. I was so happy with the conversation and picking out the room for Mom. When we arrived for the weekend much to my shock my Moms room had 15 steps! The office was unable to alter the rooms, despite the fact of the prior arrangement. I was told at that time an adjustment to our bill would be made. I talked to staff when we left and again were promised an adjustment. I have called and left message's with no one calling me back, no adjustment to our bill. Needless to say I’m hugely disappointed.

Great oceanfront views!! Property is dated but comfortable and clean. Deluxe one bedroom had a full kitchen with all utensils, we really appreciated that and the fact that it was pet friendly. Property was quiet, we felt very safe. Will stay again!

Too little, too late

Website depicted room with stunning view of the beach. Problem is, we were 300 feet above the beach and were not physically able to walk down and then back up from beach. The view was obstructed by trees and houses.

I arrived later than planned due to driving through some extreme weather. Staff was available and very helpful. Walking into the room and having it warm with the fireplace going was SO awesome! Views were amazing, and the beach was not nearly as busy as many others I saw. While it sits fairly high above the actual beach, there IS beach access near one end of the hotel, though a bit steep coming back up. The suite was spacious and comfortable, with everything I needed for my stay.

I loved the view of the ocean however the living space was very outdated, 80’s. The place was clean, but the outdated room made it feel dirty. There was no WiFi and it didn’t seem like they were in a rush to have someone come out and fix it. When I asked when it would be fixed, the clerk said whenever he gets here to do it. Again, the view of the ocean was spectacular but the place is in need of a serious remodel.

The view is the only thing good about this place. I hear it was purchased by a foreign company recently, but they are awful. The people working here are miserable and not pleasant at all. The part that made me upset was that I called before booking a non-refundable “cottage” to make sure it had a fireplace. I was told that one room didn’t, but the larger room did so I booked that one online and of course had to pay in full. When we got there, their idea of a fireplace was an electric heater that barely worked and had color light. STRIKE ONE. There was also a sign on the office counter that said No WiFi. The young guy behind the counter just said “it’s out,” and I asked him why was I not told that when I called?!?! Well, apparently this wasn’t the truth because you can see the network, but the passwords don’t work. Also, guests from weeks ago said it was also “out” in their reviews. All of this SHOULD have been disclosed. I came to the beach to literally get away, do some work (computer), and enjoy a cozy fire while watching the winter sea. Of course they just shrugged their shoulders with a look of “what do you expect us to do?” How about DON’T LIE OR MISREPRESENT THINGS! If your hotel lists fireplaces and free WiFi everywhere, including your website, you better damn well provide what the customer is paying for!

Great view of the ocean but the shower was not good. No fan in the bathroom and no window. Breaker popped 20 min after we got there. No amenities at all. From the pictures it looked much nicer.
