WHAT PET AREA???????????????????????? broken blinds so we had no privacy..headlights all night from parking lot...no direction for coffee maker..no way to make the door close without using dead lock.

People were smoking on their balcony next to us, so whenever we had our sliding glass door open, we couldn't even enjoy the ocean breeze due to the cigarette smoke wafting into our room from our chain smoking neighbors. This was all hours of the day and into the night. Very unpleasant. On our last night there our wifi went out and so did the cable. We were never contacted by anyone to fix it for us. We were just told that the maintenance team had been notified and would be reaching out. Never happened. The bright spot of our vacation was eating breakfast at the Otis Café it was worth the wait!! We also enjoyed the Petite Bakery for their pastries. The weather was wonderful and we did take a nice long walk on the beach. The view from our room was nice enough. I just wish our neighbors would have been more considerate and smoked in the designated smoking area and not next to us on their balcony!!

Wall plug with no cover. Mold around tub covered by clear caulk. Dirty. Poorly furnished. No dishes, not even coffee cups. No space for any food prep, only counter space is the bathroom sink. Managment did not assist, only wanted to know when we would vacate. Stayed one night so we could find better lodging. Choice Hotels were great.

Was threatened by room above us when we politely asked to stop dragging the furniture a ross the floor 10pm. Next door the dogs barked on balcony until way after11pm. Slept in car just to hey sleep 2 nights. Horrible.

Could hear every conversation through the walls. The person upstairs had a small child rolling their towns across the floor until 11pm. I left a night early and stayed somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend these rooms for anyone who enjoys quiet

Perfect for our needs

This place was perfect for us. It had everything we needed for a happy stay! If we had any complaints it would be that there was no shower. It was just the tub. Also, our biggest complaint is that the no smoking policy isn’t enforced at all. Every single person around us was smoking the whole time. It made it hard for us to be able to go out in the balcony because people were smoking. Other than that, great place!

My failed birthday weekend

The walls are VERY thin so you can hear all the neighbors walking around or running throughout the night. The bed was fine, nothing great nor terrible with that. The worst part was our sink (the ONLY sink btw) would not drain all weekend. Then after the first night, the light went out in the bathroom so you needed a phone flashlight to be able to see in the evening. If the sink drained I would recommend this place, as I understand lightbulbs die, but for the price I would expect everything to work. On the plus side, they left plenty of toiletries including makeup wipes.

Honest Review

Given the limited availability when I booked our stay, I didn't expect this place to be the nicest place I've stayed but I didn't expect it to rival one of worst places I've stayed considering the price. First I would like the say the place was easy to find and the location was great. The views were decent and finding parking wasn't difficult. The place was advertised as a studio but it definitely was motel without the amenities. The first thing I noticed when I walked in there wasn't any towels and a stain on the duvet. I immediately called the onsite office and no one answer since it was after 5PM. I then called the after hours number (Vacasa Property Management). They sent someone over quickly to give us some towels and replaced the duvet. The previous reviews weren't kidding when they said you could hear everything. TVs, voices, barking, and movement could be heard most of the night if not all night. Other things that were bothersome were bathroom light fixtures had wires exposed and were decorated with spider webs, mold on the bathroom ceiling and corners of the tub, the sliding door was difficult to lock, the bed was uncomfortable and squeaked with movement, the internet was spotty at best, the outlet was taped, and the walls were dirty and dented. The MOST concerning thing was finding rust colored splatter on the mirror and behind the facet. Honestly, I would save your money and skip this place!

Okay place to stay on a budget

This is an older property. If you are looking for a place on a budget it’s good. The walls are very thin, we could hear everything on both sides and above us. There was a wedding going on in the courtyard which made beach access difficult. Check in was easy and the room was clean. My recommendation is get a room on the top floor.

Sad & disappointing

I have been working with the Washington State Department of Health IMT (emergency response team) for COVID since it blew up in Washington State. I, along with my girls, were really looking forward to a little getaway from this crazy world and intense stress, on the coast. Upon our late arrival it was clear that this was not the getaway we had been longing for. The back sliding glass door was unlocked to the balcony. The walls, floors, ceilings, curtains, and surfaces were not cleaned. There was a small blood splatter pattern on the wall next to the light switch. It was after 8pm so I was unable to get ahold of anyone onsite that was listed on the confirmation and left in the room. We had been driving for about 11 hours (from ID) to get there, so this was probably more frustrating than it would have been if we could have just sat on the beach waiting for a call back. Eventually I called Vacasa directly and the representative there, Kage, took EXCELLENT care of the situation. After sending pictures of our findings, he empathized, secured options for us, and eventually a refund. I was relieved for the quick resolutions and offer for 10% off my next stay, but now that I’m safe at home, I can’t help but sit depressed about what was supposed to be. There were no other places available (other than one there) and I start my new activation this Tuesday. I hope whoever reads this takes to heart, that for some of us, these little places we rent for the weekend is our ONLY solace from the world. It is where we reconnect with loved ones and reset, so we can survive the stresses that unfold before us in our daily lives. We need to feel safe, secure in our surroundings, and at peace enough to let down our guard. I know that times are rough for everyone, but even a quick check of the room before we got there would’ve alerted someone that the room needed attention immediately and could have cleaned and sanitized before we arrived. For the sake of others solace I ask, please do better.

You get what you pay for

I was not impressed with checking into this property as the lock box was more or less broken & there was no way I could put it back together unless I used a hammer. There were only 2 regular sized pillows on the bed & 2 sham pillows. If there were more people they would not have had any pillows. I also smelled gas when I walked in & tried to locate it, but could not, but due to opening the patio door & leaving the front door opened the smell dissipated after a while. The toilet leaked even though I ‘jiggled’ the handle & the bathtub faucet had a small leak also. I left messages with the property management but due to there not being any identifying information on the voicemail, I may have been leaving it with someone who is not connected to the company at all, who knows? Anyway, the location was beautiful and since that was not contingent on the company they was not a letdown. It was quite a trek to the beach though. Since I did not pay full price for this property I would say it was worth what I did pay, but I am not sure I will be going with this company again.

Very restful sleeping with the sound of the ocean so near.

We loved the cozy fireplace and the huge jetted tub. The room was large and roomy. No frills but perfectly adequate. We enjoyed accessing the beach via a stair way just outside our door. The king size bed was comfy. We wished the room had a chest of drawers since we like to unpack rather than live out of our suitcases. The huge room could easily accommodate a chest of drawers. Overall it was a comfortable stay in a clean room with a lovely view. We had a great time. .
