Rooms were just ok. Very dated and small in size. We stayed here the last two years and rooms were much better. It seems some rooms are refurbished and some are not. Breakfast was just ok. The quality of the food was poor. Also breakfast room is small and very busy. I honestly don’t think it’s worth the money paid. It has a central location and staff are very courteous and helpful.

The hotel itself is simply amazing. It should be rated as 4 stars and not 3. We got a completely renovated room with a little courtyard and it was lovely! The young man at the front desk called four different establishments to try to get us a last-minute table for dinner + Fado music, and he succeeded! The only unpleasant part was that it was advertised to us that an airport ride from the hotel is a fixed price of 25 euro. Then one person in our party, who was leaving earlier, was charged 40 euro! When we went to the front desk to report the issue, at first, the young woman working there got defensive and accused us of asking for a taxi to the airport instead of an airport transfer. She was impatient and borderline rude. Then after speaking with the manager, she changed her tune and told us that the taxi driver definitely overcharged and returned 15 euro in an envelope. Just be aware of this airport transfer issue! Other than that, the location was great and the hotel was super nice. Breakfast was excellent too.

Nice modern hotel, very clean, quiet through the night, great location to main areas and Rossio train station and two Metro stns. (one on blue line one on green line). Discount on evening meals and we had a great buffet breakfast included. Nice little bar and places to relax in the lobby. Lots of restaurants and shops on same street and on the parallel main square. Would recommend. Only thing that could have been better was tea/coffee making facilities in room and access to a shared fridge perhaps. (Paulo was brilliant as he found us a kettle we could use for the last few days)

Small rooms - the one in the photo must be a suite! - but a quaint conversion of an older house, clean and tidy and the staff were excellent. Very well placed: you could eat in 10 different restaurants without walking 100m. Also good position at the bottom of the Avenida da Liberdade, with good access to public transport to get around the city ans see the sights.

The location was in a great location for sightseeing. The bar and service were excellent. The front desk staff had our ride scheduled for travel back to the airport with no difficulties. Great place to stay and would gladly stay again.
