Checkin/host communication were quick & easy, location was great for walking to interesting sights.The apartment was in worse condition than we could tell in the listing. I’d describe it as shabby but usable.Cleanliness was a bit of an issue. The floors were very dirty upon arrival & I had to sweep immediately so debris & hair wouldn’t get all over our socks. The mattress protector for the sofa bed was significantly soiled but had been turned upside down so we only discovered it because we thought to put the protective cover on properly while making the sofa bed. The sheets & pillow cases appeared clean enough except for quite a bit of hair that seemed to be clinging to everything, making it feel a bit less clean when trying to sleep on them.The bathroom was an issue. It’s usable but in rather poor condition. Doors allow a large gap when properly slid closed so water pools outside the shower unless you shower with one door only slid half closed to block that gap, but then water splashes out the back side of the opening. There was a terrible sewage smell in the bathroom, either from sewer gasses escaping the various drains or perhaps the badly clogged shower drain. It was bad enough that we had to keep the bathroom window open & close the door at all times to prevent the terrible smell from filling the whole apartment. The landlord is now aware so it will hopefully not be an issue in the future.We had a decent enough stay but wouldn’t choose again.
