Arrived at the hotel at 6.30am off a very delayed flight, wanted a good rest til midday in a dark room with no interruptions. At 8.40am cleaner was banging around outside our room and whacking the hoover off the walls in the room next door. Was not happy at all

Absolutely perfect check-in, met with smiles, quickly checked in and in our room within five minutes. Room was very chilly when we arrived but a quick adjustment to the aircon unit sorted made it cosy in no time. Very comfortable beds, fresh and crisp linen, decent pillows. The wetroom with shower curtain doesn’t really work well and water is trailed into the bedroom, we will try better next time! Sufficient breakfast, at 8am hot items were lukewarm but perhaps it’s just me who likes her food hot! Yes we would stay here again as proximity to the airport versus price is very good.

Consistent quality of room & breakfast. Check in staff not observant and not engaging. They were adamant that “all” hotels take a swipe of one’s credit card on checkin, in case of the room “being trashed” - charming. This is simply not true, in my experience. Additionally, although I had received an email advising of the tourist tax, the check in staff could have explained that this would be taken off the swiped credit card and I was not offered the option to pay cash for that. Disappointing.

Hairs in shower, double bed was rock hard and the sofa bed was awful. It had a huge dent in the mattress, so I sank with my head downhill and legs raised!! I ended up sleeping at the foot of the sofa bed, but there was a metal bar across the bed which meant I had to sleep half way down the bed to avoid it which meant I had to sleep scrunched up in a ball. Hardly slept. Wouldn't stay here again.
