A good one given the discounted price paid

The room was ok with reasonable space as a single bed room. It was situated on the top floor with a view of the back street. The shower water flow was quite weak, making it the most upsetting part of my stay. However, given the price I paid, a discounted price at £27+, it is acceptable. An interesting part of the hotel was the Victorian lift. I think it is a treasure of an old English hotel and should be kept forever.

Just brilliant - unmatched value for money!

Absolutely brilliant. I won’t lie, I was extremely dubious due to the low price and almost didn’t book however, so glad I did. Room was clean and comfortable with everything you could need. Staff were extremely helpful and all very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area and would be happy to bring children along next time. Extremely good value for money

just brilliant

I had a brilliant stay. Everyone was really good to me and so thoughtful, I'm disabled. I was warm and cosy in my bed Although I enjoyed a drink in the bar before I went to bed. Next morning I had just what I ordered for my breakfast, a small size meal. I did leave my bacon, just my fussy taste it was a little too salty for me. Also the coffee wasn't strong enough, but as I say that is my fussy taste,They were so good to me. I'm wondering if I can fix a longer visit later in the year.

My room was next to the hotel toilet so I had the smell ond noise from people using it. Breakfast was cold, couldn't butter the toast properly so didn't bother with breakfast again. The hotel is very old fashioned and my bathroom was smaller than the toilet next door. Had to ask the staff to turn the heaters back on twice. The hotel was very clean though and all of the staff were nice and friendly.
