The front yard is fenced and offers a nice safe area for your pet. Located across from HEB so very convenient for fuel and groceries. Short walk to downtown Lockhart which is charming with the Caldwell County courthouse as the centerpiece. Enjoyed great BBQ and a convenient location.

Wonderful home, tastefully decorated and well stocked with whatever you might need. Backyard is fun with disc golf and croquet set provided. It's a pretty busy spot with the HEB across the street, but owner handled that issue with noise machines in the bedrooms. Slept great as a result of those and the super comfortable beds!That being said, it was also super convenient to have a store writhing walking distance Highly recommend!!!

Fabulous Family location!!

We brough 5 kids and 2 dogs to the Hickory House and had a fabulous time! The home is perfect, exactly what you need for a stay. We were sampling as many BBQ places as we could. Great walking distance to downtown Lockhart. Short drive to places that are too far to walk in the summer. Owners were fabulous. Very easy check in and check out. No onerous requirements for checking out. We will look forward to doing it again.

Great Home in the BBQ Capital of Texas

This property was a fantastic place for a long weekend in Lockhart. Just a short walk to the square and a wonderful place to unwind away from the rush and get a taste of Texas. The beds were great too! I highly recommend this property for those looking to escape to Lockhart for food or festivals.

Home away from Hone

We had a wonderful time in Lockhart. This house was in the perfect spot for us. We were going back and forth between Austin and San Antonio for the USATF Regional Track meet. We were able to walk to the historic downtown area. They have cute shops and great places to eat all within a 10 to 15 minute walk. There is also a HEB directly across the street from the house which made groceries for the week super easy. We highly recommend staying here if innthe area.
