Staff not welcoming , quite abrupt . Two single beds in room and two sets of towels despite me booking for three people . Room is not suitable for three. After an argument agreed to put another bed in room . I’ve never stayed in an hotel where the receptionists have been so unfriendly and unwelcoming .

The room was a lovely size and a good view of some of London, the shampoo etc smelt lovely too. Room a bit warm but hotel rooms always seem to be and can’t open windows , but weather was warm. Hotel felt very luxurious and have stayed at a Copthorne before. Breakfast was lovely, overall stay lovely, not far from Kensington high st tube

The staff here are wonderful, very friendly and kind. Special thanks to the check-in staff, the doorman, and the wait staff in the Irish Bar. We stayed in an accessible room on the mezzanine floor which, unfortunately, was a little disappointing when compared with the rest of the hotel. Although the room was spotlessly clean, the decorations were tired, with a huge hole in the bathroom door where there had obviously previously been a hoist. There was no shower curtain, and no wardrobe or hanging rail for clothes. I understand that some sacrifices have to be made in an accessible room but that does seem like an oversight. I would still give the hotel five stars though as, apart from the niggles with the room, we had a wonderful stay. We will definitely return.

Good cooked breakfast buffet style, nice pastries & fruit. Our room was a club room on the 12th floor 1213 twin, spacious lovely and warm view of the city, the beds so comfortable. The staff were all amazing so friendly and very helpful, a great team. We loved the novelty pumpkins in the lobby! thank you for a lovely stay!

Where do I even begin? Let’s start with the handful of positives. It’s ideally located next to High Kensington Underground station. The exterior of the building appears impressive in a quiet area of London, and the lobby area is quite grand in its appearance. Now to the negative - the rooms are tired and uncared for. My hand wash and shower gel were empty on arrival, with some kind of dusty residue in the bath. The mini fridge kept humming loudly with no means of turning it off. No USB ports with the exception of this extender that illuminates the whole room with its blue on-light. Hot drink station only had one sachet of coffee and the mugs were dirty. Breakfast was poor service all round. The room simply can’t accommodate the number of guests, so I was directed to sit at the bar next to a box of unattended stationary. The coffee machines were out of action and no new tray of glasses for the juice, meaning I had to resort to using a coffee cup. No sneeze guard for the two huge bowls of yoghurt that was a haven for germs. Very weak selection, especially the muffins which were tiny and tasteless. The biggest upset for me was how unbothered the hotel reception staff appeared to be. When I checked out I was met with a strange element of disdain, as if the lady would rather be doing anything else than take my key card. Finally the biggest joke was the concierge service which was criminally understaffed. I was late getting to my meeting with dropping off the bags. Avoid!

The breakfast cereals were boring. Coco pops and cornflakes, and a muesli with barely any fruit in. No dried dates, etc. i noticed the hot food looked very good, though I didn’t have any. I had a veg burger in the bar the previous night which was very good and reasonably priced.

Fantastic welcome from Sifou and Zakariya on reception; I arrived early and whilst a room wasn’t ready for me, I got pre-checked in and had my luggage stored. When I came to check in later, Sifou and Zakariya were still on, checked me in and even upgraded my room! Thank you to both of them for such a warm welcome!

This hotel was in a perfect location, 5 minutes from Kensington High Street tube station. Check in was easy and the staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. Check in was 3pm but there was a free luggage store, which was handy and check out was 12noon. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Ok. Room not bad, although in need of redecoration. Bathroom very dated, no shower gel but towels were nice fluffy and clean. Staff very friendly. Air conditioning was difficult to set. Fridge didn’t work but tea and coffee provided. . Lights were intermittent and not clearly labelled. Fire alarm went off . No instructions. Few people milling around but couldn’t get reception to answer the phone. Breakfast good value and good choice although very busy . Overall good value. Convenient location 5 mins from High Street Kensington.

My room was upgraded to club room but what I was actually upgraded to was a noisy damp room. All I could hear was the trains and the lifts and people coming out of the lifts. When I finally fell asleep the fire alarm went off, with no advice as to what to do…people stood in corridors, I woke my son up only for alarm to stop. Then I was kept awake by the trains….my son woke up to the trains first thing in the morning!! So no not a comfortable stay
