Convenient location with an underground train station only minutes away. Lots of dining and grocery options within walking distance. The apartment was a great base wtih ample space for our 5 night stay

The hotel was easy to find - although the entrance wasn't obvious and was close to Aldgate East tube station. However, one issue that didn't get resolved was the plumbing system - right from the start the toilet did not flush correctly, even paper would not disappear completely. We also had an issue with the shower draining and on two occasions the bathroom floor become flooded - the hotels solution was to let us have a mop & bucket!

Leman Locke is conveniently located in Aldgate East, 2 minutes walk to Aldgate East underground station. Amazon fresh is 2 buildings away and a sainsbury local storenis 4 minutes walk from the apartment. On the ground floor is a coffee shop with nice brekkie options, there is a gym in the basement and a bar on the first floor. I traveled around the Easter Holiday and was able to find a Catholic church 7 minutes walk and so I was glad to celebrate Easter Sunday there. The old Spitafiields market is about 10 minutes walk. Overall it was a nice stay. The only peeve I have is that in my room was a big ugly pillar, part of the building I know, but it could have been painted or decorated nicely to form part of the studios aesthetics. Instead it just locked like a big old concrete slap. Do please leman Locke, do something about that in room 1705.

Overall, it was a good experience. On an extended stay, it’s very nice to have an Aparthotel instead of the traditional room. Being able to cook meals, have a great view of the city, and ability to wash one’s clothes. The staff were really really kind and professional. I also liked that they used WhatsApp to communicate without using data. The Downside: the washer/dryer combo wasn’t functional, but there’s a drying line and with dry environment the clothes take a couple of hours to dry at least. Also, the bedroom overhead light was not working, so that was very annoying. They tell you a room phone number but there is no phone. Lastly, the instructions for every appliance should be in every room.

Great location. Restaurants, grocery stores and tube station all easy walking. 20 min on the tube to central London . Staff was excellent and the apt in good condition. A lot of value for the money.

Stayed here for nearly a month and enjoyed it a lot. The apartments are spacious, and very well appointed for an extended stay. From the little kitchen, appliances, utensils, storage space in bedroom and bathroom, WiFi, etc. I couldn't want for more. The staff was excellent and accommodating - they provided me with extra utensils and cutlery when asked, dropped off fresh towels and cleared out trash when requested, and cleaned the unit every Sunday as promised. Even the gym was great, with free weights, cable machine, and barbell rack. The bed may be the only thing that could do with a mattress topper, but it was fine for most part. I'd stay here again even for a few days next time I'm in London. Close to tube stations, and grocery stores within 1-2 min walking distance.

It was a good location with a 3 minute walk to the tube. Lots of good coffee shops near by, with once located right in the building. The location felt safe and they only way to access your room was to swipe your keycard in the elevator before pressing your level.

The property was very nice! The receptionist (Dixie) was absolutely lovely and really helped us settle in. It was centrally located and easy to get around. The property was clean and quiet at night. Beautiful views in the morning and all around great experience.
