The staff were very kind and helpful when there was an issue with my Wotif booking. The single room was small but impeccably tidy and clean, with plenty of power points. I was very happy to have a safe to lock up valuables I didn't need to carry with me, and the location was perfect. The photos of the breakfast buffet included cooked food, which wasn't actually available at breakfast, but it was otherwise good value for £5.

Good location and great breakfast

Pros: Location, breakfast, quiet
Cons: Temperature of hotel, location of services
The location was excellent, the hotel was lovely and quiet, and the free breakfast was fantastic. However, I don't think most people want to have to leave their rooms to go to the loo or the bathroom in this day and age. The toilet door needed a shove to close it - we were in the next room - not a pleasing experience. The showers were a floor or 2 above. While compact and reasonably well laid out the bathroom was cold even though the water temp was good. We had to ask for a heater for our room, because our bedroom was chilly and the radiators were "broken". However, we had a telly, the bed was comfy and warm, and it was really nice to have shelves and a sink. So all in all, for London and for the price, it was okay. We've definitely stayed in worse, so we quite liked this one.
