The rate was good. The room was decent, but, it’s a bit misleading the way it’s presented in pictures because once you enter the room you discover that the room is very small and not much room for luggage, or hanging clothes, no bar fridge or microwave. As well, I have a bad hip and knees and we had to lug our luggage up four or five flights of stairs. I’m sure they could have put us on a lower level or ground level. For London though, it was adequate .

When we first arrived we were stunned to be placed in a downstairs room that was so small we couldn’t open our suitcase. There were only three hooks for our clothes and you couldn’t get to one side of the bed without crawling across the bed. There weren’t any windows, though there was a very large skylight. We are in our 60s and 70s so no elevator made it more challenging. But a kind staff person arranged to change us to a ground floor room that was small but very comfortable and we were very happy with our stay. We used the laundry service that picks up and delivers which was a nice and reliable way to get our laundry done. We enjoyed the neighborhood coffee shops and restaurants.
