Hotel was nice, great location on the Thames although you have to pay extra for the nice view... Not an issue for me as I was just sleeping here when in town for work. The check in was efficient, friendly. The whole of the property seems in good repair etc. My room was very quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was not entirely clean. One of my colleagues had to be moved room as hers was really not clean. The bar was nice, service was good. There are some nice pubs, bars, cafes, restaurants near by if you don't want to eat at the hotel. The area seems very safe to walk round. The breakfast was very good. the Sausages were very nice and decent bacon too. And the scrambled eggs were nice. Very good for a buffet indeed. All in all a good place for the money and I would stay again

Nice room, although would have liked a better view you had to pay extra for that. Disappointed that we went for a swim the next day and you had to book in advance and decide what time you went the day before. Only a small pool so guess that is why. Also, there was no robe in our room and when we asked when we saw everyone else wearing one, we were told by reception you have to ask for one at reception (not automatically in the room). Staff were very friendly.

The hotel advertises that it has "air conditioning". But their cooling AC is turned off to save money over winter. At check in, staff insist that the rooms have operable AC, but they don't. Activating the AC led to the room heating up. It was impossible to sleep. I was first told to turn it off and collect a fan from reception. Five calls to reception over three hours, and very late at night, the duty manager moved me to a new room that had cooling AC activated. Someone needs to report this hotel to Trading Standards.

The staff were amazing and were able to get us checked in early. The room was comfortable but probably in need of a bit of an upgrade. The shower was specifically a bit too aged with what looked like moldy grout. Even so, the room was great for our needs.

Breakfast was nice but was not hot so had to eat it fast. Also breakfast room was cold. Bin in our room was emptied by cleaners and the full bag of rubbish left in middle of the floor. Shower screen was discoloured and mirror was worn with underside showing through. Room had a general tired look. Stayed here couple of years ago and it was a lot better.
