Phoenix Hotel was wonderful. We will stay here the next time we come to London. Location was perfect. Close to Bayswater subway station and lots of restaurants and little grocery. The breakfast was great. We were very happy with our stay and can’t wait to go back.

We had a triple room which was very clean and spacioius. The hotel is convenient for Paddington and travel throughout London. Breakfast was excellent- even the coffee was good. The staff on reception were very helpful.

My second stay and it proved the first wasn’t a fluke….this hotel is a great find in London! Rooms are clean and fresh, well equipped with kettle, hairdryer, toiletries etc. Staff friendly and helpful. Superb location close to plenty of restaurants & cafes plus 2 mainline tube stations.

Very clean, great location, and friendly staff. I stayed during a heatwave and the no air conditioning wasn’t fun, but I understand it’s an old building probably difficult to upgrade. But overall, fantastic place and would recommend for anytime besides the hottest week of the year!

Location is very convenient for visiting major places in London and has a lot of food choices in the neighborhood. Breakfast is enough good in quality and variety. Overall very good cost performance, I would say. Only I miss is a refrigerator not available in the guest room, but they allow us to use their refrigerator at the hotel reception.

Very nicely maintained hotel in an excellent location. The single room was very small, but that was expected, and it was fine for one person. The furnishings seemed new enough and the water pressure in the shower was strong. The bed was a little lumpy. The continental breakfast was quite nice if you're happy without hot dishes. The location is minutes from the high street with two Tube stations and loads of cafes, restaurants and shops. Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park is a short (less than 10 minute) walk. The hotel is on a quiet street. The hotel bar is never open, but there are at least 4 pubs within 2 minutes. Overall very good value for money.

Clean and quiet rooms. Staff nice especially young man this morning who helped us with transportation to paddington station. We booked a taxi for 6:30am but no show as man locked keys in his vehicle! Man at the desk called few taxis but unsuccessful so called an Uber for us & hotel paid for it. Will definitely stay at hotel next time we visit London.
