Very strong mould smell in the bathroom and some interesting unidentified sticky stains on the carpet. Stayed in a premium room that included wifi which was slow and patchy, ended up just using phone data instead. Some staff super helpful but one in particular might want to work on their customer service skills. Being abrasive and unkind doesn’t bode well for a pleasant encounter when you work in reception and represent the hotel. Unfortunately, it’s the bad ones that stand out when you are paying for a service. Positive about this hotel was it’s location to Paddington station which made getting around super easy Would have book at different hotel in this area in hindsight.

Clean and comfortable, next to Paddington Station (Elizabeth line). Room cleaning on request. Secure building, need key card to enter elevator area then your floor hall. Breakfast buffet the same daily - clean, organized British style offerings. Only body wash/shampoo combo. No map of floor plan for escape route behind door

The location was perfect, right across the road from Paddington station which is well connected for the tube and Heathrow. The hotel was clean and staff helpful. Will book next time when I’m in London

I have a complain that i want expedia to raise it to the hotel management as i tried to send their guest relation the feedback and received that they are not able to investigate or receive feedback as i booked through third party and feedback should come from expedia. It started when i arrived at around 1:15pm at hotel and wanted to check in with my family and the receptionist lady told us that we need to pay extra fee of 15 sterling to check in before 3pm saying this is the hotel rules. I told her that this is not in my booking confirmation nor was that mentioned during booking online but she insisted that these are the rules and it is stated on the hotel own website. I asked to talk to her manager and here started the big problem of unprofessionalism and impoliteness in hospitality: A very rude and impolite guy telling us that this is the hotel rules and we should follow the regulations, he is not listening even to the guests and he said the following: If you want to cancel, i am happy to do that and you go do whatever you want or you pay the fees to check in; he also said by the way the cameras are recording here and i can get you the police if your voice increases-this is pure threatening guests! then when i told him i am not blaming you, you just need to listen that my reservation has no such info, he looked to me and said you people do not follow regulations nor policies ! he also looked to his colleague and said why people became so rude these days.

The location was very convenient and I think the staff was very accommodating and we truly appreciated that. The hotel was very safe with several layers of secure entryways and the rooms were comfortable. The only thing that could have been better was the design of their showers (it was a half door shower/tub where the water just couldn't be helped but to leak all over the bathroom floor) and there was no refrigerator in the room, which could have been very useful for us and we assumed all rooms had a fridge. But I would consider staying here again.

Good location, comfortable bed. But our keycards stopped working halfway through, we asked for the room to be cleaned and they made the bed but don’t change the sheets, and didn’t fill the toilet paper. The same staff that worked the front desk was also the bar staff, and the drinks were inconsistent at best. Also the shower door was a half a door so when you took a shower the entire room was soaking wet. And you could tell that this was a consistent issue because the molding was rotting. So, not the worst experience but not ideal.
