REVIEW OF 14 THEED STREET FLAT/APARTMENT

POSITIVES: LOCATION WAS FINE, AS WATERLOO UNDERGROUND/RAIL IS VERY CLOSE WALK. QUIET AREA WHICH WAS NICE FOR SLEEPING. APARTMENT IS SPACIOUS AND PLENTY FOR FAMILY OF 6-8. NEGATIVES: WASHING MACHINE DIDN'T WORK. THERE IS NO A/C, WHICH WE KNEW, BUT NOT ALL ROOMS HAVE WINDOWS THAT OPEN TO LET COOL AIR IN. THE FANS PROVIDED WERE COVERED IN DUST. THE FURNITURE IN THE LIVING ROOM IS OLD AND WORN. A SINK WAS BROKEN, AS WELL A COUPLE DRAINS IN THE SHOWERS. THE WATER PRESSURE CAN GO FROM NORMAL TO ZERO FOR NO REASON. OFTEN TIMES WHEN MORE THAN ONE PERSON WAS USING A SHOWER, THE OTHER WOULD HAVE NO HOT WATER. MOST OF US TOOK COLD SHOWERS AT LEAST ONCE OR TWICE IN THE 4 DAYS. THERE WERE BUGS IN A LOT OF THE ROOMS. SOME OF THE WALLS INDICATED THERE WERE SOME WATER LEAKS AT SOME POINT THAT HADN'T BEEN FIXED, OR AT VERY LEAST THE WALLS WEREN'T PAINTED OVER THE PLACE HAS POTENTIAL, BUT NEEDS TO HAVE SOME BASIC REPAIRS AND CLEAN UP BEFORE HOSTING AGAIN.
