We stayed for a week and really appreciated the location, the staff, the walk ability to two underground stations as well as attractions like Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the Parliament Buildings, the Eye, etc. We opted to only have cleaning service every other day and that was spotty, but not a big deal. Hot breakfast, cafe, bar on site is nice. Overall great stay!

I had reserved a city-view room, but when I arrived, I was placed in a room without a city view. When I inquired at the front desk, a lady who appeared to be of Indian descent responded rudely, stating that she couldn't switch my room because there were no studio rooms available with a city view. When I asked to speak to the manager, she went to check, and ultimately, I was moved to a city-view room. It is unfortunate and disappointing that the staff was unwilling to accommodate my request as a customer.

I had a really nice time staying here. Housekeeping is lovely and does a wonderful job. Complimentary treats and drinks (water) was a wonderful added touch, as were the daily cleanings. The concierge service is superb and very helpful. The area around it is spectacular as well, and Illy cafe in the lobby is great. It's also a very pretty-amenitied place. I had the best time here and recommend it to any wandering traveler!

Concierge was very friendly and helpful. Front desk staff wasn't as friendly. Jot sure why the rooms have pump soaps but no washcloths? The interior rooms are a bit dingy due to low light and feel damp with the air conditioning on.

A fantastic location and decent hotel. With that said, it was a bit shocking to see the lack of cleanliness in the rooms. Housekeeping was incredibly inconsistent. Granted, the rooms are outdated and needing an upgrade, so it can be a challenge to overcome that. I tried the self check-in several times and the process would not complete. When checking in personally, the staff seemed put out by me even being there. I mentioned I had tried to use their online process, but it was not working, so had to check in myself. I had ordered an upgraded room and paid for early check in. The staff told me they weren’t going to accommodate that, despite my receipt of confirmation of both services well in advance to the check in. They then (a few minutes after saying I wouldn’t get my upgrade) gave me the upgrade and the early check in and acted as if I should be ever grateful. I’m hoping I didn’t get charged twice. It was a bit comical, yet also a bit insulting to be treated like such an inconvenience. Rooms are so dark and lighting is not great throughout the hotel. I couldn’t imagine what one of their interior facing rooms looks like. I’ve noticed this in the Park Plaza Waterloo, as well. Beds are comfortable and location of this hotel is great. Very walkable and close to transportation. Breakfast is decent. Restaurant staff and doormen are all helpful, despite the front end being lacking during our experience. Not sure if I’ll return to a park plaza location after this visit.

Hotel is convenient to several sites, such as: Big Ben, Parliament, Westminister Abby, London Eye, and a healthy walk to Buckingham Palace and St. James' Palace. Transportation is easily accessible, buses stop across street from hotel while underground Westminister is two blocks away. The hotel has many amenities: pool, spa, restaurant and cocktail lounge. The staff was friendly and helpful. The concierge can help book excursions. The beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. The hotel is located in a very busy area, lots of vehicles and foot traffic, but we rarely heard any of it. The Illey Café on ground level offers enough breakfast options to start day, items are reasonably priced, or you can have buffet breakfast at restaurant for 35£ per person. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this hotel, I would stay there again.
