After Air Canadian stranded us by canceling our flight the staff at Park Plaza Hotel went out of their way to accommodate us. A one night free upgrade and breakfast. Upon leaning we were stuck for a week while awaiting a new flight, they again went out if their way to ensure we were comfortable and could stay for the duration of our extended wait. Much appreciate.

Over the past 10 years we have stayed on and off at the PARK Plaza hotel we find it conveniently located to restaurants walking attractions and mostly due to the fact this hotel is very clean and has excellent customer service. I have a disability, and I feel that I am respected and cared for with courtesy.

I did not like that our room was not cleaned everyday. We had no toilet paper. I was calling the front desk and no one answered. Your housekeeping is horrible. The garbage was not cleaned up. It was terribly service. You really do not care about repeat guests. I will never stay at this hotel again.

The property itself is beautiful, felt very spacious and glamorous, very comfy clean bed with white sheets as I like it, comfy pillows. Around the property is superb, in the best location possible, we always felt safe, red bus tour stop is literally across the street from the hotel which was perfect for us. The staff was very friendly and polite, also loved that some of them spoke Spanish. Loved the little cafe in the downstairs lobby, they had great coffee, pastries, prepared sandwiches etc. the hotel buffet breakfast was a great choice, it cost 25 British pounds per person, which I thought was a bit much until I compared the price with other horrible breakfast elsewhere. Transportation from this location or any other location in London I found to be very accesible. Only things I thought could be a bit better were the following: we rented a few rooms, since there with family and the windows in our rooms looked into a food lounge area where I felt like O was being watched, don’t know if it’s possible for them to see in as clearly as I could see out the window. I kept my curtains closed the entire time just in case, this wasn’t ideal because it made me feel enclosed and the rooms felt dark. Also the cleanliness wasn’t up to par, carpets in our floor were dark red but I could still see spots and marks also didn’t smell as fresh as it should in the rooms and corridors or smelled a bit moldy. I could also see some moldy spots on the bathroom wallpaper near the exit door.

Not worth the money, tourist trap hotel

The staff we encountered were rude. We had to call reception to get soap put in our room as the dispenser wasn’t checked. The leather sofa that was a pull out bed was dirty. The beds stunk, smelt like the bedding had been washed in cooking oil or with kitchen tea towels. The pillows were lumpy. We had to pay £9.45 for two glass bottles of water? Not sure how 2 bottles even came to this. We would have expected a coffee machine in the room for that price, not instant coffee sachets. Bedrooms were dated.

I’ve never felt compelled to leave a review for a hotel but here goes. The location is beyond excellent. We booked the Big Ben view room. However, the service leaves much room for improvement: 1) a hotel that forgets to call you during a wake up call and then doesn’t apologize for it, well this is it and 2) smell of ammonia when the AC is on, this is also it.

Great experience, overall! Hotel is in the heart of London! Close to most attractions. Ausra, the night receptionist, was very nice and courteous. She promptly printed some boarding passes for us!

Great location next to Westminster bridge, contemporary design of rooms, view of Big Ben from the lobby, comfortable beds, warm pool, steam room and sauna. I would get the room with gallery view, as there was no natural light and difficult to wake up.
