The property is quite unique - rooms were large and if you catch the sky cable it is easy to catch the ferry into the city. On the negative side, the breakfast is appalling - eggs were like rubber and cold. Range of cereal ordinary and tea had been stewing for hours.

Hotel room climate control was broken and the stadard ventillation was so and rattly that sleep was next to impossible. The bathroom heating was stuck on permanently so that it was 33c inside at all times. The staff didnt do anything except call maintentnance which was completely poontless. The worst thing though was tge hotel decided to move furniture and remoddel on the floor above at 1am to 4am that inclidied sych fun times as loud crashes, constant loud footsteps and running, dragging furnature. The staff dont undetstand that noise propigates down from level 3 (reception) down the metal floor to rooms below. Yes it is directly under the final landing approach of london city airport and is very noisy when a plane lands about every 15 minutes. Dont believe others that say it isnt a problem, it certaintly is. Flights start 0630 ending 2230. Nothing was done to correct the broken facilities and the remoddeling in the middle of thr night was not stopped when multiple people complained. In a word the place is terrible.
