Cheap and cheerful hotel in a very pricy city. On the edge of the last bit of not totally gentrified london but still pretty gentrified. There's a great little pub around the corner towards Elephant and castle, there's some good caribean takeaway down past Elephant and Castle. The breakfast is plentiful, the staff are friendly. Have stayed twice now. Not fancy at all, but it's a bed in London at a reasonable price.

Great stay!

Great extras: free water, fruit, cookies in lobby! V courteous and helpful staff. We stayed in twin room. Only thing needed is a clothing hook in room or bathroom. Room was small, no bedside table on one side. Can use window sills in room and bathroom to put things.

very accessible to underground tube and not too far from london center if you like walking. complete essential gadgets,i. e.flat iron with stand, fridge/freezer, kettle etc...are in the room. very frriendly staff and breakfast is very nice.
