The area’s rich maritime history reveals itself in increments – find it on street corners and old wharfs as you weave through the pretty cobbled thoroughfares. The riverside Mayflower pub dating from around 1550 stands close to where the famous ship took on supplies for its transatlantic voyage. Marinas, parks, and wildlife reserves along the riverbank provide plenty for nature lovers to enjoy. There are ample mid-range shopping and dining opportunities in your locale but the overground train line, tube network, and Rotherhithe Tunnel put East and Central London within easy reach. After a day and night enjoying the sights and sounds of the city, retreat back to your oasis of calm. With views of the iconic Canary Wharf skyline from the south bank of the Thames, if you need a reminder that one of the world’s greatest cities is on your doorstep you need only look up.

Please also note that we will charge a penalty fee of £500 if any of our house rules are broken.
