The Clarendon Our Place To Go

I love this area of London, and the Clarendon is our place to go, great restaurants in the area and you can walk to Greenwich or catch a bus just across the road, looking forward to returning ASAP

Charming hotel

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Tried the food at the restaurant and it wasn't great. Ordered a steak, asked for medium rare and was given a medium well. Tried the curry and it tasted like a microwaved meal but for £16. Property was looking quite tired but i suppose that's the charm. Wasnt bad overall.

Usually a great stay, but …………

On arrival we were fortunate to get a parking space as advertised it’s on a first come basis. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was great. Room was clean and spacious on arrival. Unfortunately on our return to room 152 in the evening after the show, we were greeted by a filthy shower tray, looks like dirty water had come back up the drain and we were luck it didn’t flood the floor. We didn’t mention anything at the time as it was midnight and we were too tired to deal with it. Don’t be put off staying here the hotel is well placed and very comfortable. This hopefully was an isolated incident.
