Location location location! This was the first time our family was ever visiting London, and we didn't want to stay in a hotel, we wanted to really feel like we were in the city. The location of this flat is just incredible, you're right in the middle of everything! Even the view out the window gives you a feel for the energy and pace of the city. You're within walking distance to multiple Underground stations with lines going in all directions. Busses are readily available. Multiple markets are walk-able. Shops everywhere. Theaters EVERYWHERE. It's centrally located so it's quick to visit Westminster or Tower Bridge or anything, really. We have a family member with strict dietary needs, and the kitchen was plenty adequate to make our own meals, and the washing machine was also very convenient (particularly given we stayed a little longer than a week). The one thing you should know is it can be loud during the sleeping hours, between people returning from the pubs and the sirens from the nearby fire-station. We all had earplugs for bedtime, and had no trouble sleeping, but it's worth noting. That said, you can't have both the incredible in-the-heart-of-the-action location and quiet, and we much preferred the location, and would absolutely come back to this apartment!
