If you need a night or two in central London, want to be near the tourist-y areas, and you're traveling solo, this property may work for you. The rooms are a bit smaller than a cruise ship room and not terribly modern. While there is a working elevator, each floor has additional stairs which was a bit tricky with luggage. The supervisor was incredibly kind and helpful when needed, which was appreciated.

Great inexpensive stay in a lovely area. Staff was very helpful and kind. Price can’t be beat. Room was very small but perfect for a traveller who just needs somewhere to sleep. My only minor complaint is the bed. Very very stiff bed. Still a great stay!

There is difficulty arriving into reception as a few stairs when you have a heavy suitcase is not great - no one from the hotel is there to help Lifts are poor and during my stay went out of action and again I was left with a heavy suitcase battling the stairs More staff needed during chevkout

Perfectly compact.

Everything you need in a room. Perfectly clean, big fluffy towels and a soft bed and bedding. Ideal as a solo traveller, may be a bit more of a challenge for a couple due to the compact nature of the room! No window may not be for everyone but it did mean my room was pitch black for a great nights sleep with no noise from outside despite being in a bustling part of London.

Lovely hotel great location

Very nice very new. Stayed in the basement level which was quite nice for night’s stay. Peaceful! Only small problem is the water from shower seeped into room where I left bags

Ok, but be careful with cleaners invading the room

The service was very good, the staff were attentive and friendly. The room was very small and had no window, which was bad. But overall the room was comfortable. ->> But there was one point that was really bad. When the maid knocked on the bedroom door just once, she didn't wait for me to answer and opened the door and went in. I could have been in an intimate moment or naked and I felt my privacy was being invaded and not respected.

Great place, great service.

Great place to stay and location was perfect. Staff very helpful and made it a very pleasant stay. Mattress was too hard for me to get a fully rested sleep but that shouldn't deter your stay here.

Small but great location/comfy

We spent two nights at The Z Hotel, it was in a perfect location for our theatre night and to explore surrounding areas. The room was cosy! Small but functional, clean, good quality bedding and tea and coffee and water. It was great for what we needed and staff were very helpful.

Good Central base

Used the Z hotel Holburn for an over night stay whilst attending a Spurs match. Hotel reception very nice, staff friendly on arrival. Rooms were great, small but wasn't in there long really.

Modern but small. My son and I were having trouble with space for 2 suitcases as the room would be suitable for 1, though workable for 2. A short walk around the area opened up dining options with street vendors near Flat Iron providing plenty of yummy options.
