An enjoyable overnight stay

The stay at the hotel was excellent as it was so central to London. Everything is within a short walking distance. Only 5 mins walk from Picadilly circus underground. Across the road there is the Japanese Centre where we had our dinner and after 7pm all the sushi were reduced so had a bargain on our favourite food. When we checked in at 3pm there was half hr delay so there was complimentary drinks and snacks. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. Although there's no safe in the room, I have my important documents stored safely in the reception with everything recorded, signed and sealed. The room is basic with tv, tea making facilities with good quality tea and coffee. The shower room is small but ok for us as we are medium built. It's quiet in the room although we're staying on the ground floor away from the busy centre of Leicester sq and Picadilly circus. Would definitely be back to stay when we're back in London. Keep up the good work guys.

Not worth staying in this property

I understand that most rooms do not have windows. However, there was no system in place for proper air circulation. The air conditioner was set to 18 degrees Celsius, but it had no effect. The room was extremely hot. I requested a fan, but there was a very unpleasant odour. There was also no mobile phone service in the basement. I asked to be moved to the upper floor, and I was willing to pay for the accommodation. However, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked. Checking in was very slow, with only one person at the reception desk. Overall, the room was smelly and lacked proper air circulation.

Very good experience

A really well run hotel in a fantastic location. The rooms are very small but well planned out, clean and well stocked with towels, tea coffee, shampoo etc etc. Beds very comfy and my Wi-Fi was excellent. Service on check in was friendly and the little cafe/bar offering 24hr service was perfect. A good choice if you are travelling solo or as a couple or for a business overnight. Would recommend as it’s within walking distance of everything in the very centre of town.

We stayed in a basement room that was airless, reeking of damp and had the heating set to 18C no matter what as you can’t turn it down. Utterly ridiculous even at the affordable price.

The staff is very helpful. The reakfast is a good deal. You must be careful on the room you book. For instance we booked a double room and our bed was agains the wall on one side. The better one would be the queen room. Good location for transportation to airport and all location inthe city.

Never stayed here before and will from now on. Very helpful staff. Great location of hotel. Comfy bed, huge tv in room. Have a great selection for breakfast. Only little thing is that my aircon was very noisy and the room had a very slight dampish smell, which could be because I took a room without a window. Apart from that, cannot fault it and look forward to staying there again.

The location is perfect. You can walk all around the city and then just come back in a few minutes to the hotel. All the most iconic landmarks are close, walking distance. Lots of Restaurants and pubs where to eat and go. The hotel staff was excellent, kind and helpful. The room is not big, but it had everything you need. When you go on holidays you don’t usually spend most of the time in the hotel. It serves its purpose. You can have a tea or coffee in the room. Watch tv. For us it was fine. The whole place was nice and clean. You can have breakfast downstairs. The only thing was that in the shower, on the soap holder, I found traces of an old bar of soap.
