Hotel was overall clean and staff was polite and attentive. We did get put in the basement across from the laundry with no AC in a heatwave, though we were given a fan, the hot air from the clothes dryer meant no reprieve from the heat by opening the window at night.

The room itself was small but recently updated, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The rest of the hotel has a more traditional style, which is quite charming. Only thing to note is that there is no lift or air conditioning and the top floor got quite warm in summer weather!

Such a nice welcome and so friendly. The staff were happy to look after our bags when we arrived early and after checkout also. The little garden at the back was perfect to have a drink in from the bar. Having a little stove and toaster was such a great idea. The rooms were very warm although it was the hottest day in May on record. The ceiling fan helped. A lovely view from the window out across the rooftops to the church. The shops nearby were of a great variety and not far to walk. The Would definitely visit again.

Great hotel, well located just outside the main hustle and bustle of London but very close to transport links. Have stayed a couple of times now and will be staying again. Staff are always very friendly and rooms are always clean and well stocked.
