Very outdated and overpriced.

The condo was very overpriced for its condition and misrepresented. It doesn’t look like the photos, the photos must be very old. The condo is outdated, dark, screen door kept coming off the rail, light bulbs were out. It's 80's decor. Bedroom and living room are so dark/old. I could have stayed at the ritz Carlton Sarasota for what we paid per night for this condo.

Quick get a way!

We arrived Friday evening at 5:30 and left Monday morning at 10. Very nice, comfortable, quiet, friendly and convenient place to stay. Close to the beach, nice pool and safe environment. Really enjoyed it!

What you see is what you get

Property is exactly as pictured. Outdated but clean. Laundry in-unit, close to the pool, first floor, beach towels provided - all great for a family with young children. Kitchen is very minimal, but was able to make kid's meals there. Wouldn't suggest this property if you are looking to do a lot of cooking. Sand Cay is a great set-up for families, but this unit in particular could use some love.

My husband and I were looking forward to our long weekend on Longboat Key. We arrived after hours. Our unit had a very strong mold/mildew odor and dust issues. My husband has asthma/respiratory issues and started feeling ill after only a few minutes in the unit. We were not able to stay. We tried to contact the property manager, property after-hours emergency number, VRBO, and the messaged the owner. The after-hours emergency number could only connect us to a maintenance person who was unable to provide any other number to reach someone. I can’t say if this is a good property or not as other units may not have these issues.
