It's what you'd expect

The hot tub was nice but the rooms definitely need a remodel. I just cant complain on the price I paid which was okay. Overall, it's not in a bad spot and the people who work there are very nice. It just needs some updating.

On my "never come back"list

I stay in a lot of hotels based off reviews and I've gotten really lucky in the past finding great little treasures in cities. This place is not one of those places. It's great for a place to sleep but that's about it. Upon arrival at 7pm, my 10 yo old daughter and I checked in to our key not working. The gentlemen at the front desk was wonderful but the problem was out his control as he informed us the cards are pre-loaded and he doesn't have capabilities to fix it and I could come in the morning and get the key activated. I had to bother the poor front desk guy about 4 times throughout the night because he had to let us back in our room. I also noticed several other people checking in and him running to let them in their rooms. My daughter said he looked so tired, and I don't blame him considering no one could get in their rooms and the owners do not leave him a solution. The room was gross. It was a non smoking room but it definitely has a smell like people have smoked in it and not cared about the deposit. The carpet was so disgusting I couldn't walk around barefoot. I kept socks and sandals next to the bed. The refrigerator is so cold that it froze everything inside it. Lastly, the front desk last lady called me at 10:30 asking if I was staying another night. When I said no she made sure to tell me checkout was 11. I've NEVER had something like this happen. It was incredibly rude especially seeing I'm a single mother trying to get two people out. We were out at 10:45.
