The room was just okay. First time ever that there was no early check in. We had to wait exactly until 3 to get a room. Even though I called since 11am, then checked every hour until 3. Still no room available. The front desk couldn’t make anything happen.

The check-in was fast and simple as I made a reservation online. Upon entry into the room I noticed there was a stain on the carpet I did not bother the front desk because I was only going to be there for the night. The location was close to restaurants and parking was ok if you park early enough its only 10 dollars until 6am the next day, great if you plan on leaving early. I loved the old school feel of the place clean bathroom a little quaint shower not for the claustrophobic but good enough for me. Overall, good for a short stay not for a long stay in LA. Bar has friendly staff drinks are good I recommend the strawberry lemonade with alcohol it was delicious.

We booked a family style room that was 2 bunk beds (4 beds in total). The room was L shape and pretty tight. One either had to sit on their bed or sit on the single stool that was avaliable. I found climbing to the top bunk best left to a younger person. Bathroom was clean, and roomy. The price for 4 nights compared to other hotels was excellent. The rooftop is very prettyat night and we used the pool once. The staff are extremely friendly. I would stay here again.

Dissappointing

Disappointing, not able to accommodate most of our requests. Dog friendly but can’t offer a water bowl in case we forget own? Phone in the room doesn’t work and they don’t seem phased. Up charged twice for early check in, wouldn’t listen when I argued. Won’t be back. Only good part is the location.

I felt very safe staying by myself in this hotel. The room was also clean and neat. The lobby is beautiful as well as their rooftop. Personnel was nice, valet was easy to use and I was able to leave my bags at check out with ease to go eat in the surrounding area before leaving Los Angeles. Ultimately, I would recommend staying here.

The location is great, the lobby area and coffee bar are lovely, the rooms however are sad, very basic and dirty. The floor of our quad room was so filthy we had to get extra towels to lay on them. There was also blood on the bunk bed frame.
