Rooms were very small. Clean and staff was friendly/ helpful. No fridge in the room and limited space to open luggage. Also, there is a resort fee of $35 US daily. They don’t tell you about until after you book the hotel.

Staff was excellent and property is very nice. We enjoyed the restaurant and bar on site. Parking is expensive and area around property is rough. But we enjoyed our stay.

The room appeared to be clean at check-in (to be fair it was a quick glance) minus minimal scuff marks here and there but the day of our checkout we were discussed by dried blood stains on the sheets that appeared to be there for weeks to months and definitely should have been taken out of rotation Additionally the fees added were higher than Expedia stated more than double thankfully included parking which is mandatory unless you took a shuttle or taxi one plus is you are allowed in and out privileges through out each night you are planning on parking however one thing to mention is to be careful when handling you keys to valet although staff was very good we had a random person off the street try and take our keys as we were walking up to valet I just ignored him and handed it directly to the valet Overall maintenance up keep was concerning when we got there we saw flowing water as if a pipe burst which we believe did happen our shower handle was stuck and we had no working tv that just claimed “Volume coming soon” the positive aspect was the people oriented culture Staff was excellent

My husband and I took our 22 year old daughter to a show at The Palladium. Friends of ours were staying at The Volume and suggested we stay there too. We were only staying for one night and it was walking distance to the venue, so we said let’s do it. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The only negative was that the rooms were tiny!!

POOR! First, call the property directly instead of a 3rd party provider so you can make sure you are not subject to "certain" fees from reserving online. 2. Don't stay on a Monday if you are looking to experience the hotel restaurant - It's not open. Bummer, reviews were decent and said "Bar" was open. Actually meant lobby bar, with limited offering! Dissappointed I could not get my very basic Lemon Drop Martini. Instead I ordered what was a horrid Margarita. 3.Room: Tiny, no closet, or small dresser! We literally were spinning in circles as to where to place our belongings. NO space for "getting ready". Sheets old soils! Yuck. Only hangers on wall to hang our clothes. Looked like a laundry room 4. Bathroom: (I will try not to be graphic) Above toilet wall were 2 dirty hand prints spread apart - No, this was not maintenance doing work. I noticed while changing in the claustrophobic space near the toilet. I wanted to vomit and question how housekeeping could have missed this. I cleaned & sanitized the wall myself. Pretty disgusting. Some good... 1. Rooftop pool nice, but slick decking. I fell. 2. ALL of the staff IS VERY friendly! However, at check-out no one asked how our stay was, so we did not fuss. But, here is the review. We travel a lot! Should have stayed at the Hilton. We felt we did not fit this particular independent boutique "soft brand".

Hollywood hidden gem

Stayed here for the second time and will always choose this property. Great front desk team. The lobby is a lovely place to have a visit, a drink or a snack. Rooms are small but feel luxe.

The room was clean and well-maintained. The staff were helpful. The location is great if you wanna enjoy Hollywood and other neighboring touristy things. However, the rooms aren't very sound-proofed and this is not the sound from the music from the rooftop or ground floor but sound coming through other rooms. Overall the experience was good for a one-time visit.

Clean, fun for a young crowd

Loved the room: clean and comfortable. Only wish there was a coffee maker in room and that the noise level (music) from downstairs restaurant was lower. Definitely catering to a younger crowd. Very friendly staff!
