Overnight between flights

I picked this hotel because we always stay at the Holiday Inn in Portland, but I'll think twice before staying at this property. The motion activated light was rather annoying every time I got up during the night, so had to turn it off every time. The 24 hour fan in the bathroom was also annoying, so we had to close the door in order to get a good night's sleep. The 'reading lights' as the side of the bed were directional (could not move the arm), but were installed the reverse direction of how they should have been installed (to give 'better light' at the bedside, not at the far side of the bed. We're used to having a sign up sheet for the shuttle, so we can make sure we get to the airport on time, but this property was just first come first served. LUCKILY we were able to get to the airport in time, but this should be revisited.... you don't want to mess with people trying to get to the airport on time!

Overall, a decent stay. Check-in was easy and seamless. The young lady who checked me in made sure I was not overcharged for my stay by inquiring with the manager on the correct way to check me in, which I appreciated. The room was an icebox when I arrived. Shower head needed to be cleared of clog with some Lime Away because the water went in all directions. Dove products were a welcomed surprise! Two thumbs up for that. The breakfast buffet...they are getting over. $34 for BASIC continental breakfast with no grits, cold breakfast potatoes, and watered down orange juice. It was kind of a let down for the cost. I suggest getting a room opposite of the main street because there was loud music being played all night long, and construction work being done.

Charging a crazy $26 for Breakfast charging a $40 for parking which we didn't have to use but others did. No microwave in the room the pool was closed it was okay for a night stopover where we didn't do anything but I wouldn't stay here again for the price. There were homeless around outside but the hotel itself had security and felt safe.

Had short stay and idnt spend much time at the hotel so i didnt explore it all. The hotel itself was nice and clean. has everything you need and is in a good area to pick up a ride and has airport shuttle service. I wouldnt wander around outside the area though. I dont recommend getting a room near an elevator if you need a good sleep. It kept me up. The only other negative was the the room had heater/ac unit but it didnt work. Overall, I would recomend.

The hotel is conveniently located with nice amenities except a microwave. The bed and pillows are very comfortable but the smoke alarm went off at 1:45am and had to be removed from the room.
