This was a great place to stay close enough to the beach for a whole day layover in LA (about a 15 min walk to Manhattan Beach). Its an older motel but the price is good! I'd stay here again.

Great hotel for one night, felt safe as I was alone, location was not too far from the beach. Hotel room was great (premium room), huge tv, kitchenette etc. was very happy to get an early check in after the long flight - thanks! Only thing was the pool was not open, lucky I didnt end up with time to use it.

Always a great stay at the Seahorse. Great location, close to the airport, shopping and beaches. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean and spacious.

This is not a luxury motel; however, the managers and housekeepers were kind, welcoming and helpful. If you want an inexpensive place to stay that is safe due to its location and great help, then this place is good to go! You are centrally located to all kinds of places. Took me about 16 mins to walk to the beach (go left on Sepulveda from the hotel and take a right on Artesia all the way down to the beach). Lots of shops by the pier. GREAT pizza and Gelato as well.

Really, I have only good things to say about this place: very friendly check-in, great location, and great value. If you have a car, there is free parking ( spaces are tight). If you come without a car, you can walk to everything from the beach to restaurants to grocery stores. Extra comfortable beds and a quiet evening's sleep.
