Incredible helpful front desk staff, the property is also super well maintained, it feels like a 5 stars hotel! Location is perfect too (walking distance to the best restaurants, etc.) Thank you for a great experience!

At check in, 3 staffers were chatting it up about personal plans while I waited for them to be done with the convo to check in. Hotel Dena has a $30/night parking garage that costs $15 if you don't stay at the hotel and the parking garage doesn't check. So why does the hotel charge $30? We didn't have a trash can in our room so I had to throw my bathroom trash on the floor in a corner. It was quiet on the 4th floor. I would likely not stay there again.

I was not happy with the value of this property. The price is high and the hotel bills itself as a 4 star property, but the attention to detail lacks. The room was mediocre; there was no space to place anything, such as toiletries, in the bathroom; there isn't appropriate furniture for luggage; the first room we had was accessible and thus had massive space in the bathroom but had holes on the wall where a shelf had been removed and not patched and nowhere to set down anything, as even the blow dryer took up the toilet tank spot. The lobby felt like a mid grade bar; the bar was small, loud, and underwhelming; the check-in process was painful because there was an entire group that was checking in before us, but they were not all present until they were individually ready to come to the counter, at which point they walked around us and met up with the teammate who was already at the counter. In other words, it looked like we were 3rd in line, when in effect we were about 15th. The 1 employee at the counter never looked up at us or addressed the need to check in this entire group first. Furthermore, she chatted up each person in the group asking what they did for a living and also trying to upsell them on Marriot membership which took more time and even more if they accepted and she processed the new membership. Finally, I paid for the breakfast to be included but nowhere did this mention that it was only for eggs and potatoes - no substitutions.

Just ok for us. Usually stay at the Pasadena Hotel and Pool. Thought we would try something new. Staff was far from awesome. Pool wasn’t serviced. Wasn’t very clean Thought we were getting a nice walk out balcony on first floor and got a concrete wall just below the pool entrance. It was loud and cigarette butts were there. We had to ask for fresh towels at the front desk. We liked the location and proximity to downtown. This hotel could be amazing. As for our overall experience…… lots to be desired. Wasn’t what we expected. Lots of Marriott choices in the family- not sure we will be back to this one.

Relaxing

Second stay here first time for a conference and this time just for family fun weekend. LOVE the area feels safe and nice to walk across the street places to eat, stores and even a movie theater. My son says he loves the feel of the hotel like an old movie. Lol

The staff is incredibly friendly. It's attached to the convention center which is super convenient. Bar has great food and drinks. Room was nice except for the fact that the shower plumbing vibrates loud enough to wake half the hall... about 1 in 3 times you use it.

Clean and convenient in Pasadena

Check in was fast and efficient. The room I booked was ready early. It was clean and spacious. Service was excellent. Look forward to staying again. Hotel was convenient to restaurants and Pasadena museums.

great location and beautiful hotel with amenities. The TV didn't work and the bed sheets didn't smell great, as well as the flat tiny pillows. Good hotel but pricey considering some aspects.
