This is a great place to stay. Motel size, treated like a hotel. Couldn't ask for a better staff. Rooms are clean, pool is small but clean and inviting, area around the Tangerine is safe, excellent espresso shop walking distance, restaurants also walking distance. I would absolutely book here again and recommend

I really enjoyed our stay. It was nothing fancy, but super cute and it was perfect for what we needed. It was so conveniently located and the fact that check in is at 1 pm is awesome!! The front staff were so friendly and inviting. They let us park our car there earlier than check in so that we could go to Universal Studios. And it is super close to Universal for either public transit or rideshare. Great food options along the street where the hotel is located and the heated pool was the icing on the cake. Also, we never had any issues with noise and the bed was super comfy. We will surely be staying here again.

Room presented well and location was close to Universal Studios and some local restaurants but the room had a very musky old smell and the carpets likely need a more regular steam cleaning or replacement. Continental breakfast is just a tray of pastries and coffee machine. When checking in they take your credit card on file for what they call incidentals but upon check out will not provide receipt or statement of account upon check out of these incidentals - regardless if you have any.

This was a fun place to stay. I liked that it wasn’t the same as every other hotel. The people were so helpful and friendly. We’ll stay here again if in the area!

My husband and I loved our stay at the Tangerine. The location is great! Lots of cute places to walk to, and surprisingly quiet. Free parking, amazing coffee, and yummy pastries. Beds are very comfy! We would definitely stay here again.
