DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL!!! EGG WATER!

This is a horrible hotel. The water smells like egg water… clearly needs to be treated! The room is humid and old. The beds have metal bottoms so they sound like jail beds when you tap them at all with your foot. The mattresses are hard. No tissue for your nose, two towels and no wash cloths or hand towels in the room that they knew had five people on the reservation. They knew our reservation was for five clearly could see that and they only gave us a room that sleeps 4 and I know I had chosen the room that hotels.com showed had two queens and a sofa bed, so I am angry with hotels.com and the hotel. The egg water in the shower and the sink to wash hands and brush teeth is disgusting. And when we asked for more towels or toilet paper the staff was upset and said they had to wash more towels and would give only one more toilet paper and they never had extra to hand us. There is no do not disturb sign to put on your door when you are sleeping. The bathroom is old and has rust in it. The one microwave they have is outside on a table. For being in Manhattan Beach, CA this is NOT the hotel you want for you and your family! On top of hotels.com and this hotel NOT ACCOMMODATING the number of of people in our family needing a place to sleep as clearly stated in our reservation, The egg (sulfur water and hard(jail like beds) made it the worst experience we have ever had with a hotel!

The toilet seat cover had duck tape holding the seat together. Sheets didn't smell clean. Plastic container were presence at each air conditioner unit, due to leaking located outside of each door. The shower had low water pressure. The iron didn't work. The tv remote wasn't working and I had to go front desk to get batteries. Afterwards the tv volume would now go down beyond 19. I complaint to manager at check out and all he could say they didn't have any other available rooms. When I saw the condition of the room I callled the front desk 3 separate times and the phone just rang and no one picked up the phone. The manager said they were sold out. It is hard to believe because the parking structure was under ground and the stalls were not full. The parking structure smell like marijuana when I was going to my car. The maintenance personal name was Carlos and he stated he was the one who placed duck tape on the toilet seat. The manage name was Kevin. I paid a lot of money for the hotel room for one night and it was the worst hotel in Manhattan Beach I have ever stayed in. The manager behavior was not professional and he appeared as if he didn't care about the problems I have experience as a customer. I would never recommend anyone to this hotel, The hotel is very outdated and it needs some work done on the outside of the hotel.

The overhead light over my bed was not working. I reported it, but it was not replaced during our stay. The Raisin Bran cereal container in the breakfast room was not working properly, making it impossible to use. Trash was coming out of the trash container in the breakfast room during the breakfast hours. Someone should have been monitoring the breakfast room and emptying the trash. There were no napkins in the breakfast room. Instead, there was a box of kleenex.

The hotel is very comfortable and has a very nice location with some restaurants at walking distance, parking is good and free for guests. It gives Breakfast. The only negative I could find was that the beds had some metal under that if you are not careful make a lot of noise, without that, I think it would be excellent

The bed was firm and stiff. The room did not have soap for your hands. The continental breakfast was extremely sparse (no protein sources of any kind, only carbhohydrates).
