My husband and I came for our 1 year wedding anniversary and immediately as we arrived were treated like VIP’s. We were ushered to a private check in area with food and drinks. Check in went smoothly and we were introduced to our concierge Adrian who was friendly and informative. Then Antonio brought us to our room with our bags and gave us a tour of the resort and gave us recommendations. We also had a server at the pool, Noe who was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel lobby always smelled amazing and the service was great throughout our 3 night stay. I would have given 5 stars but there were a couple things that I were a little room was a little dated and didn’t have a lot of lighting. The bathroom was very dim especially in the shower and I felt like I didn’t know if I could see if it was clean or not. In addition, although there was a variety of food a lot of it was under seasoned.

The staff were amazing, restaurants were excellent (especially the Italian, the breakfast buffet and new Indian restaurants). The upgraded gym has everything you need along with scheduled classes. Entertainment crew keep things hopping at the pool.

Our butler, Edgar was wonderful! He attended to our every need and thought of everthing. I would return any time and would love to have Edgar help us again. All of the staff was very nice and helpful. They made our stay that much more enjoyable and memorable. The food was very good at all of the restaurants that we tried.

Pros: The resort is beautiful, the grounds are well kept, and most staff were polite and responsive. Cons: Our room had a noticeable mildew odor during the stay, and the bedding smelled musty, which affected comfort. Housekeeping was inconsistent on one occasion. We also booked a romantic experience through the hotel that did not fully match the setup shown in the photos, although staff did attempt to make adjustments. Overall: A nice property with great potential, but some details fell short of expectations.

The staff made the resort for us! Our room was always clean and restocked. Trinidad our personal butler booked everything we needed and more. He started to help us after Deisi the restaurant manager Casa Cortez noticed our breakfast took a long time and came out incorrect. We didn’t complain or say anything she just saw this and reached out to Trinidad to make sure the rest of our stay was exceptional. We 100% would rate all of the staff a 10/10!

On the kids club- don’t limit the time and age group. My son was 23 months and I wasn’t able to stay in the kids club with him for the time they were closed for drop-off hours. The only time the allow kids to play is from 9am-10am and 4pm-5pm. Please try and be more flexible to parents to let their kid play supervised with parents if the staff cannot watch children below the age of 4yrs old. Rooms - The room cleaning wasn’t great. The first day they missed our room cleaning. Food - The desserts, donuts and cafe foods seem stale. Wish they were more fresh and soft.
