Solaris has a great location on a huge beach. Big resorts on either side and nice restaurant choices just outside the resort. It was our first all inclusive experience, and we are not fans of that. But what they did was great. The kids water slide is best for small kids. The slides aren't steep and kinda boring for bigger kids.

So happy we picked this all inclusive. Very clean and well kept resort with great food options, and very polite and friendly staff. Beach was beautiful and although not really for swimming it was still nice to play around in the water a bit and take it all in. I brought my wife for her birthday and we enjoyed that it was more family oriented and not a crazy party scene. The pool was super fun and great music drinks and delicious pizza and snacks. Found out they offered a membership that gets you VIP amenities and access to special events and secret private bars and stuff to which was awesome. Looking forward to coming back soon.

The food was so repetitive that we had to leave the premises to eat somewhere else. Bathroom shower didn’t drain as the floor tile was sloped incorrectly , it was gross showering with dirty water on your feet . Broken tiles in pool.

The staff was unbelievable. I travel 3/4 times a year and can say that the staff here are very happy. Always smiling and never give anyone an attitude. This is a very big deal.. The buffet needs more variety. I don’t think we should have to request for bacon in the morning. That is a little weird. Also please add hashbrowns to the menu for breakfast. Also since the result is kid friendly you need more lunch and dinner options for kids at the buffet. Pizza at the pool is wonderful. For kids and adults… Also the pool lunch option is also great touch… Thanks we will be back..

The property is clean and well-kept. I didn't like the small window allowed for reserving the specialty dining options. The food in the specialty dining restaurants was very good. I didn't enjoy the evening buffet options, but the morning breakfast options were excellent. I didn't like the bar hours, nothing before 10:00 am. I also didn't like the pool bar closing at 6:00 pm or the pool closing at 7:00 pm. Both are too early. Overall, we had a nice vacation, plenty of kid options at this resort. The area is lovely.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Very clean! EXCELLENT food, providing a variety of foods (although the desserts weren't the best but I am not a dessert person)! There was always pool activities going on although the night shows were cheesy and disappointing. We went into San Jose and Cabo by taking Uber which were both great places to visit! The gym was terrible but had enough to maintain light exercise for vacation. We had trouble with our room lock but staff was quick to try to fix it and provided compensation. You could not go into the ocean water anywhere close, but we managed to go in up to our knees which was good for us.

Overall this place is good. I just want to put few feedback in this place. Kids play ground; the big slides. The running water was low and slow. My 10 years was stuck in the slides. She had to kept pushing herself down. Sure need some upgrade on around and new paints. Secondly, wish the room were more lively. Room looks old, needs better paints. Even though I see the staff painting the hallways and doing work.

The hotel grounds were clean, all the staff at the bars and the wait staff in the restaurants were very kind and eager to please. I also used the spa and Wendy was wonderful in the spa. The food quality at the breakfast buffet was good but not so much for lunch. I was not happy with my room but only because the jacuzzi was not functioning properly the first 3 nights we were there. Tried to resolve with the concierge and reception each day. They would not offer a rate reduction. The hot water in the tub was coming out brown and the jets were shooting out gunk. This heavily impacted our stay.
