The location of this resort was very close to the marina and town so I could go for walks off the property often. Built up onto the hillside gave awesome views of the marina as well as the ocean. We chose the ocean view suite. It was extremely spacious, clean, had 2 full bathrooms, a full kitchen and a great view of the impressive pool area and beach. The food options were good. The most stand out feature of this resort are the staff that work here. They were all friendly and will make your stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend staying at Sandos Finisterra.

Really liked it they just need more variety of foods but the pools and some activities are great just some boring old ppl activity’s but the area around is easy to taxi or walk to lovely and the excursions are cheaper to book by the marina instead of the hotel

Nice location with great views. Staff are great Property needs some repairs. Lots of missing tiles around pool areas. Ants around pool areas. Limited dining options. They only have 4 restaurants and 4 of the 7 nights we were there 1 was closed causing limited options and wait times. This property does not take reservations for the restaurants which I like unless wait times are long.

The room was spacious and very clean The only complaint was the quality of the food For a resort of this class and expense the food was sub par. The breakfast was consistently very good the problem was special events white night where some of the buffet dishes were very bad In the restaurants there was also a quality problem The pools were clean but many of the hot tubs did not work

We really enjoyed our stay at Sandos- the views from the property and the property grounds are incredible. We are considering returning to get married here however the only downfall of our trip is that we both got very, very sick on our last night. That aside, most of the food tasted delicious throughout our stay.

Despite not being members, my wife and I have stayed at the Finisterra 7 times since 2019, so the property has some appeal. The Finisterra sits in a unique location with views of both the marina and the Pacific. This trip was by far, our worst, primarily because of room issues. In summary: The Good: * Ismael, the bartender at the VIP pool/bar is the best. * Other waiters/servers around the property are generally very good and kind. * Beautiful and unique views from the property The Worst: *Our room (Finisterra Casita Suite) smelled like sewage, was reported multiple times, and nobody seemed to care about resolving it. Not sure it was actually safe to stay in the room, but we kept the sliding door open. The Bad: * Food is average, maybe above average for an all-inclusive. It is not as good as pre-Covid, but better than the last few years. Beef across the property restaurants is terrible. * Limited restaurant options, with not having Don Diego open as a Mexican restaurant for dinner * Sliding glass door lock broken (did not really matter because we had to keep it open most of the time) * Sink stopped up * Broken mirror above sink If we return, it will be because of the friendly and kind service staff.
