Hotel is aging horribly we used to stay here sometimes 4 times a year, this particular visit was horrible, toilet was leaking onto the floor! They repaired the leak, but for 3 days the water was running forcing us to keep the bathroom door closed due to noise. The wall paper was completely coming off. The sliding door to the balcony opened but to hundreds of metal spikes to keep the birds out. If not paying attention and it was dark or something could have easily stabbed my foot through the shoe lol! Lubbock has limited nice places to stay and now losing this place is gonna make it hard to find a decent hotel. Louis

Room 358 is not a cheap room. while we were there the heater in the room is loud enough to wake you while your sleeping. the blower wheel sounds like it is coming off. the water knobs in the shower are horrible and do not work right. the knobs in the hot tube area are the same. the ice maker in the room does not work correctly. also the door keys sometimes work and sometimes dont. needs some work

The room was hot. The entire building felt uncomfortably warm. When we tried to change the thermostat, we couldn’t feel any difference in the air flow. It felt like the thermostat was set too high and couldn’t be adjusted. We have noted this same issue with previous visits, that we couldn’t adjust the thermostat to a comfortable setting
