Clean and cozy! Loved the vibe inside, plus totally walkable to the main strip, Shepler’s ferry, and any of the local restaurants. Check-in/out was remote too, no hassle or worry at any point. Price is super fair for a simple little place to stay!

One of the best places in Mackinaw to stay. Rooms are clean and staff are helpful. Takes time to get use to the no contact check in and code to enter room. Once you get it, I really like it. Very nice place to stay.

A clean room, with easy check in and accessible by keypad. Average bed. Decent small bathroom. Not a fancy room, but adequate. AC was adequate, but had to work hard to cool the room in the hot weather. My only gripe is that the curtains do not keep the light out.

The check in was virtual. They send you a code for your room for tge 4pm check in. There is NO early check in and the room automatically checks itself out at the 10am check out time. There is a letter to guests in the room that says in no uncertain terms that check out is 10am and you must leave the premises immediately. There is no pool. It has been cemented over (see my picture). The motel is very clean and safe.

Hoel is charming and relatively comfortable. Decent sized fridge, and the freezer section kept our cold packs cold (helpful if you travel with a cooler). For reasons unknown they have filled in the pool, so swimming won’t be an option. Convenient to attractions, the ferry to Mackinac Island, and the bridge to the U.P. Parking is a bit of a free for all in the lot - we were always able to find a space, though never the ones near our room. The lot is not large, so it wasn’t a long walk. We never had contact with a single human being on the staff - everything was done remotely. If you like that sort of thing, you’ll be fine.
