    The reception desk is in a different building around the corner, and I needed the help of another guest to find it. The man at reception was on a call for several minutes before acknowledging me, then through the check-in process he barely glanced at me twice. He did walk me to the room and show me everything which was nice. And he changed his mind about the bed he would give me so that I could have a nicer spot. The hall to the room I stayed in looked perfectly clean but smelled like urine. The room I stayed in smelled fine though. It had 24 beds but it was kind of S shaped so it didn't feel like you were staying close to more than 10. The beds were comfortable and each one had a curtain, a light, and an outlet. There were only two other people in the room, who were both very quiet and respectful, though it made me more worried than I would have been if there had been many since I was a woman travelling alone. I was worried about my luggage too, with the possibility of 23 other people with access to it and the locker they provided only being big enough for a backpack and a bag, not my rolling suitcase. Overall, the vibes were really sketchy, desolate, charmless, and soulless, but it was a comfortable dark bed to stay in with nice clean bathrooms that was just fine for the relatively cheap price for a single night.

    Probably the worst hostel in Madrid 1/10

    DO NOT BOOK ! everything here is bad. No(!) check in after midnight - I lost my money for that night. They even hung up on me on the phone when I was out in the middle of the night in front of the house and nobody let me in. Else than that, dirty bed sheets, dirty everything. The photos are from my bed and below. They told me it was cleaned. It wasn't. And the room smelled like socks. Staff incompetent and will do everything to refuse responsibility. They are milking their customers. "Complaints? Not our fault"

    wrong address! Expedia and MYD somehow listed this as property #2 with the wrong address! I had to call Expedia and got the run around for over 1 hour because nobody at MYD ever picks up the phone. other than that, it's very dirty and noisy. there are literally leftover banana and fruit peels on the floor that's over 1 week old.

    Llegué a las doce y cuarto porque se retraso el tren y no me quisieron dar la habitación que había ya pagado y reservado y tampoco me devolvieron el dinero,el chico de la recepcion fue muy antipático,aún encima me echo de la recepción diciendo que no podía estar allí y eso que estaba lloviendo,haciendo frío y era ya la una de la madrugada,tuve que pagar un taxi y otro alojamiento que encontré cerca de las dos de la madrugada,nunca jamás volveré allí

    Incomprensible. No lo recomiendo, si se te pierde u olvida un código (que te apuntan en un pequeño post-it). No te pueden dejar acceder a la cama. Con lo que no puedes dormir. La única solución que te dan es, como no está el recepcionista que te entrega el codigo, quedarte en la recepción hasta que habrán la recepción. Me parece ridículo, que no puedan ayudarte en esa situación. Acabe yéndome sin dormir, ya que era estancia de una noche.
