Hard Rock Hotel is a gorgeous boutique hotel in the centre of Madrid, within walking distance of many of the sights. Our room was spotless, with an outlook over the reception area, where a fabulous range of music, sometimes live, could be heard.

Best shower I’ve ever used! There will be stories written about it someday. The room was clean, bed soft. The staff was awesome… now the reason it didn’t get a 5. The noise, you’re not going to bed before midnight. It has an open atrium that amplifies the noise in the bar and you won’t be able to sleep until midnight when it stops. The food was also ok, overpriced for the quality. Save your money and eat at one of the several restaurants in the area. It was a safe clean stay. I would stay there again, knowing what I know. Very easy 5 min. Walk to the train station.

The staff was very kind and spoke perfect English. They didn’t have our room ready when we arrived, so we got an upgrade. The showers and sink were very nice, decent-sized room. TV, AC, everything there worked just fine. We didn’t eat at the restaurant or bar there but there were always people sitting down and it was a nice environment to come back to.
