The hotel is very close to the Sol metro station, which connects you to the airport and train stations. It's also in the city center near the Plaza Mayor and the Prado Museum.

A wonderful place to stay, centrally located, right in a large Plaza. Multiple restaurants and shops, all within walking distance. Close to several tourist attractions, many of which were in walking distance. Very clean, with a decent buffet breakfast. My only complaint was that there was no attempt made to allow us into the room prior to 3:00 PM (although they did hold our luggage so that we could explore the neighborhood).

Excellent location for central Madrid, just across from Sol Metro station. We had asked for a room on a higher floor at the back so that it was quieter, which we got and it was. However, we were woken in the early hours of the morning by the sound of dripping water. It turned out that there was some major water leak and we had to change rooms around 4am. We were given a much better room on a lower floor and overlooking the street below, however the street noise was much better than expected and didn’t really disturb us. We were compensated with free breakfasts for our stay, which were ok, we would describe as adequate. We had tea making facilities in the room, but there was no milk available. Staff were all very friendly and the room(s) were clean.
