The staff is extremely rude. From the moment i checked into the front desk staff was very rude. They dont hide the fact they do not like Americans. It makes you feel unwelcome. I could not wait to check out. Also the restaurant manager talks down to his staff and guests. He's a very rude man. If youre looking for a cool olace to stay in Madrid this is NOT the place!

Weird bathrooms no water taps

They offered robes and slippers and bed was comfy enough but the room could’ve been cleaner and the bathroom setup was really odd. Th shower was in the entrance with all around glass panels, the toilet was separate without a sink and door was too large so you had to use toilet with the door open or sit on toilet to close the door. The sink was in the middle of the room and inside the vanity yet the vanity would not stay open. The other inconvenience was that there weren’t any taps to fill bottles with cool water so when I used some water at breakfast I was rudely told not to do that and that I should go to the street to get water as Madrids water is potable which granted it is but it is not cool and is not inside the hotel.
