Eexcellent property. Love everything about it from the location which is great, walking distance to all main tourist sites, to the property is in great condition, feels new and decorated very nicely. Really enjoyed our stay at Libere. The amenities and cleanliness of the room were spectacular. I love how easy it was to check-in. The location was perfect! Only a 4 minute walk to the Metro. Shops and restaurants were so easy to access and you could see a little bit of everything. My fiancé and I were very impressed with this location. We will definitely recommend this location to friends and family. We would be happy explore one of their many locations again!

Had everything that we needed; the hands-off check-in and check-out were nice. We did not see any staff. Using the app as our key was so useful, and arriving to find a washer after 3 days of hiking in Mallorca was an unexpected surprise.

Great location, walking distance to many places. Lidl was righ around the corner for our groceries and a variety of shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. The property was very clean and quiet, very convenient check in and out, with very easy instructions. Well appointed kitchen, with dishwasher and washing machine. Sofa bed with additional sheets, pillows and blanket. All our questions and concerns were addressed promptly to our complete satisfaction except for one unpleasant moment. We were given a room appointed for handicapped people, and while these accommodation are absolutely necessary for someone, they were quite uncomfortable for us. We asked for a different room, but were told no other room was available at the time. Note for myself: in the future to ask not to be placed in this type of room. Other than that we loved everything and would love to come and stay in Libere Madrid Malasana again and recommend it to others.

If you have an early-morning flight, I do not recommend staying here. The gate does not open before 9:00 a.m., and there is no lobby or common area available. I had an early flight and was left waiting outside for hours without access—after a 12-hour flight, carrying four pieces of luggage, on a rainy day. I called the front desk talked to Ivan and explain the situation and still refused to open the door. At a traditional hotel, guests at least have the option to wait in a lobby. That basic accommodation is not available here, which makes early departures extremely inconvenient. This is not a typical hotel experience. Daily housekeeping is not provided—rooms are not cleaned, towels are not changed, trash is not removed, and toilet paper is not replenished unless specifically requested. I booked this stay through Expedia, and it appears there is a lack of communication between the property and Expedia, which contributed to the issues experienced.

We booked a room with a terrace and another rooms for my parents. Our first 1.5 days went smoothly. Overnight, loud gurgling/banging sounds interrupted our sleep in our first unit. we attempted to decrease the sounds with a towel and alerted staff. Later in the day we were moved to a larger unit but without a terrace. We packed our belongings over. After 8 hours (at midnight) water began pouring through the ceiling of the bathroom through a light and the smoke detector. We mopped the floor with towels and placed a pot to collect water. We reached out to staff and made contact with the unit above us to see if it may be there shower. We collected all of our belongings and our 4 year old son to move to another room. It was similar to our first unit but with no terrace. With both of these interruptions and a room that did not have the terrace we were told only 20% off one night would be provided. We requested reconsideration and were told this was the final decision. If everything goes smoothly this is a great place to stay but if something doesn’t go well don’t expect much.
