The breakfast was okay but i expected more given it was Double Tree by Hilton. The most important thing for us that left us a little disappointed was that the pillows in the room weren't comfortable at all. Location was okay but it was still a 2km drive to the city centre. All in all it was an okay stay but could have been better.

location is a major drawback

The hotel itself is well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. The rooms were in great condition, and the breakfast was excellent — fresh, tasty, and with plenty of variety. Unfortunately, the location is a major drawback. The surrounding area felt run-down and unsafe, especially at night. It’s not a place where you'd want to walk around after dark. If you're planning to stay mostly inside or take taxis everywhere, the hotel is a solid choice. But if location and walkability are important to you, this may not be the best option.

The check-in and check-out experiences were great. The room could have been cleaned better and had some areas that were not clean/ dusted. Morning buffet breakfast on Day 1 had a piece of plastic in the cornflakes which showed up in my 13 year old son's bowl. Thankfully he removed it and I did share it with the manager in the restaurant. Day 2, I got a small stone in the spoon ful of peanuts that I picked up from the Malaysial food section. The Axis lounge was a great experience with experienced and friendly staff, good selection of cocktails and food. The italian restaurant also had very good food options with a great taste. All in all - not very happy with the stay experience. This is not the Hilton experience I have known.
