Bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly! Toilet hadn’t even been flushed after a poop. Room service food was expensive. Don’t mind expensive if good quality but food was very average. Had good expectations from Crowne plaza but premier inn was better to be fair.

Short stay before holiday

This was my first time staying at the Crowne Plaza hotel. It was a short stay before we went on holiday. The hotel was lovely, relaxed and comfortable. The staff were friendly and polite. Food was very good and the breakfast buffet was excellent, even for someone like me who doesn't always eat breakfast. If I flew from Manchester Airport again I would choose Crowne Plaza to stay again.

A welcome change

On arrival offered an upgrade which we took excellent value as was the room the only comment signage to the eating area the other end of the bar other than that all very positive with very helpful and friendly staff

Sleep quality was poor. We were on the top floor away from any lifts, but there was a constant banging through out the night. The banging sounded like either a door or doors banging somewhere below or either side of us. It is a great shame because the room was excellant as was the staff we had interactions with.
